What do you get when you mix a plastic surgeon, Clint Brink's torso and a hospital of nurses who call Clint "Doctor"?
A broken-hearted Kim Cloete.
Kim and Clint return to soapieville soon when they make their debut on Binnelanders. They play Bronwyn and Dr. Steve Abrahams, an estranged couple who's problems are caused by Clint and the fact that he can't keep his hands off other women.
He's a philanderer of note, which doesn't surprise me considering he's a plastic surgeon. I've never met one so I don't know what they're like in real life but my impression has always been that I don't trust them because of the pervy way they behave on E! Entertainment.
Steve's philandering ways have created a situation where Bronwyn doesn't know whether she wants to stay with him or not. This is how we meet them when they arrive - with Bronwyn needing to decide. She's a medical rep so their worlds are intertwined.
Bronwyn isn't the only one who doesn't trust him. Steve comes to Binneland Kliniek because of some sort of drama at Southern Hope so he moves to Binneland to get away from it all.
Or so he says.
He tells everyone that he's thinking of starting a new practice at Binneland but At suspects he's moved in for a more suspect reason.
Steve arrives next Thursday - on 20 August - and Bronwyn arrives on 14 September, to sniff out what he's getting up to without her. In October/November their daughter Lexi arrives to further complicate things, played by newcomer Kisha Skeï.
