5 reasons why Glenn didn't die on The Walking Dead

I refuse to believe that Glenn is dead.

It looked very convincing on Monday's brutally-brilliant Walking Dead but after fretting about it a lot I've decided that he's definitely still alive.

Here's why:

1. We know that the show constantly kills off major characters but Glenn is so much more than that. He's the essence of everything along with Rick and Daryl. I've always been convinced that the three of them will never die and I haven't stopped believing it so it's impossible for him to be dead.

2. They would never show us his intestines if he were to die. It was all too gruesome and gross for Glenn. He has a sense of style and class and the show knows it so they'd never let us see him in that state in his final hours.

3. He was alone. None of our favourite heroes were with him and the show wouldn't let him die like that. He's been through so much with everyone that they'd never disrespect him and his relationships to such an extent.

4. They'd never let a punk like Nicholas be responsible for his death.

5. The proof is in the footage. At no point did we ever see Glenn himself being attacked by a zombie. Here's a blow-by-blow...

Moment 1: Nicholas turned into much more of a loser than he's always been (even though it didn't seem possible).

Moment 2: Glenn realises what a coward Nicholas was.

Moment 3: Nicholas and his selfish dead body collapses into the herd, taking Glenn with him.

Moment 4: Glenn lands on the ground, whincing in pain - from the fall and not from the zombies.

Moment 5: He's surrounded by zombies but none of them have bitten into him.

Moment 6: The zombies start tearing through what seems to be his chest but it isn't because it's too high to be. It's the right height to be Nicholas's chest if he fell on top of him.

Moment 7: The horror of seeing the zombies eat Nicholas's intestines makes Glenn look as if he's dying when he's not.

And now he's stuck in the middle of them, alive and kicking and he needs to escape the Impossible.

The zombies might be distracted if more sounds go off next week but I don't see that working in this situation with them feasting.

Glenn's very resourceful though - this we know. More so than anyone else, including trigger-happy Rick, so I have no doubt that he's going to work out a plan. I have no clue what it could possibly be but I have the utmost faith in him.
