Special Notes

The Road fell to a new ratings low this week as it continues it's struggle on The Road to Nowhere. The big budget series, which must be costing Mzansi Magic a fortune to make, dropped out of the channel's Top 10 list and only managed to reach 185,000 viewers.

This is 353,000 viewers less than the average viewership in it's premiere week.

It narrowly beat Zabalaza, which also fell out of the Top 10 with 178,000 viewers.

It seems nothing can ever fix this Road ,even a star studded cast could not help this show . Idols viewership is not that great even though its nearing the finale .

The Road got rid of their best actor, Luthuli, amidst the outcry of the viewers and the concept of the show is very strange. I mean, the show just switches to the Koffi part all of a sudden while you are focusing on the production part, which is dull by the way. That is ridiculous. So its decline makes sense for a show that had so much potential from the start.

I thought idols number would be 3million+. the road time slot got 2much competition, they should have taken their project to sabc cz majority of people have dstv's bt mostly watch sabc&e.tv.I know dt at home cz we on premium package bt we hardly watch dstv channels...as for uzalo&skeem saam are crap to me I dnt know why they got huge follow #opinion beside people hating generations is still the best show & u cant even tell dt its a revamped show

The road should have just done the 50s part with old Themba narrating to Zwelakhe , i like the 50/60s part more and the music too.  It had potential bt the producers became too greedy to tell 2 stories in one.  Hope they just switch to the 50s whatever the timeline is and stay there.  Nothing interesting with Zwelakhe dead in the current world
