Season 2 of the drama series picks from where Season 1 left off, with the two main couples in the first leg of their romantic relationships. Now, they are established couples, and the new series explores the growth and maturation of love and how love changes shapes and colours just as young people in love change and grow in their own personhoods. Can love be sustained as human beings evolve? And what new shapes does it take?
The story is set against the backdrop of the four main characters’ individual career and educational ambitions, their hopes and dreams, the challenges and obstacles they experience and new influences and sometimes temptations in the form of new love prospects. Where most love stories end at ‘and they lived happily ever after’, Dream World now picks up after the happily ever after. To…what now?
