Survivor: Dawn flattens Corinne

"I have yet to be really involved in a blindside. It's time."

Yip, it is Corinne. Your wish has come true. Ha!

Just as I was warming up to her, she's been snuffed into Survivor oblivion* and I'm okay with it. I don't feel iffy at all because the events that led up to her blindside last night were too juicy.

Most surprising to me was the sudden gameplay from Dawn who thankfully managed to dam-up her tears for two minutes to pull the strings that made it happen.

She's directly responsible for the way the game's going to go from now onwards because I'm convinced Malcolm would have run the game until the end if he'd been on the winning side of the vote.

The way he managed to get everyone to call the tribe his mother's name was astonishingly impressive, especially when he got Andrea to give it an exotic interpretation because I believed her too!

Dawn's move changed the power dynamics of the future dramatically and highlighted that she knows she needs to take action. The episode really gave us more insight into where she's at. She's obviously got Post Traumatic Cochran Disorder and it's why she keeps bawling. I thought she'd put Cochran's betrayal behind her and wasn't giving it another thought but clearly NOT.

What was much less clear was why Malcolm described my favourite Sherri as weird. I was shocked and stumped because I don't know what he's talking about?? The thing that troubled me is that others mentioned it too, when they said she was difficult to get along with at camp. It's never seemed like this to me before but I'm worried that there's truth to it if so many people are saying it.

I don't like listening to others when it comes to such things but I was forced to consider it at Tribal Council because I found her very negative when she said it was guaranteed that a fan was going to be snuffed. Still, there's no ways I'm giving up on her and I'm holding thumbs she blasts back with voomah next week.

*For the first time in Survivor history, the first person voted out after the merge won't be on the jury. The next person voted out will be.

That episode was amazing!! Cochran deserved that individual immunity as a true fan of the game. Did Dawn just do that?? I didn't know she had that in her and I am proud. Eddie/Reynolds(I get them confused) was over confident at tribal, it served him right that their Mighty alliance just crumbled(I still love Malcolm though). Phillip is still annoying and I want him gone ASAP!!

I was watching TC thinking "Uh-oh Tashi cant be happy" with her top 2 from her list last week  being pitted against each other for elimination. I wish it was Philip that was blindsided, but Corinne didn't think this through too clearly and flipped too soon and  too openly. Yes Sherri seems like a bit of an enigma now. Mike and co. could have got her to their side - she made it clear to the camera that she didnt like Philip - but guess they had firmly decided that she was the target. Glad Dawn pulled some strings - but seems like dizzy Eric was the swing vote. Let's see how this plays out as the opposing side (Reynold and Malcolm) have two HII's in play.

Yip, it was a nasty situation. They were both in such control last week and then suddenly they lost it - it's hectic how quickly that happens on the show. What was interesting is that I took Corinne's elimination with a punch on the chin because it's how she takes things. I didn't realise it in her previous season but she's got a really good attitude about things generally - doesn't take anything personally and she helped me to do that too.

I would have felt much more iffy if Sherri had left, especially considering the uncertainty about her that's suddenly cropped up. I really want her to have another chance so I can get to know her more and hopefully dispel what others have said about her.
