Poor Malcolm. He put in huge amounts of effort but he had to go. I've loved his skullduggery but I could never commit to his numbskull alliance and I'm relieved that Sherri felt the same way.
I was concerned she was going to flip and was very pleased when she didn't, espesh when she gave Cochran that wink at Tribal because they've secured their place as my firm faves. What's so interesting is that I used to favour Sherri above Cochran but my order's changed and Cochran's my numero uno because he's in such top form.
He's reminding me soooooo much of
Rob Cesternino, who was also a strategic, physically challenged fanboy who always had something giggleworthy to say. Cochran's handling of the auction was pure class and the advantage he won was a deal breaker. It didn't guarantee his win though because he still needed loads of elbow grease and I was impressed when his pasty, stick insect arms managed to keep it together.
The auction was riveting as per usual and broke my heart for Brenda when she ended up with vile. Just goes to show what happens when you procrastinate!
Everything that happened with her was such a lesson in mind control and what happens when you lose it... her crying about being so hungry highlighted exactly how psychological it all is. She would have had no problem handling the hunger if Malcolm hadn't messed with her mind and thrown her plans into disarray. Her body would have responded completely differently if she'd still felt in control. Trippy stuff.
How do you possibly ensure that your mind doesn't mess with your body? I've started jogging and it's a question I've been asking myself a
lot. Ha!
All in all the episode worked out purrfectly. The split votes that resulted in a re-vote, Eddie's defeat and the fact that someone wrote Reynold as Reynolds when they voted for him (I also keep wanting to call him this for some inexplicable reason).
