I've just heard that Presenter Search on 3 finalist Mishka Patel will be bouncing back to co-host the new season of Pasella when it starts on SABC2 in February.
As you may remember, Mishka was
so badly treated last year during the second season of Win a Home. She was supposed to co-host with Khanya Siyengo and even started filming. She Tweeted and Facebooked that she was on the show, Expresso announced that she was co-hosting and next thing - when the show started - she was nowhere to be seen after having been ditched at the last minute.
At the time I was convinced that the show's sponsors Private Property were responsible for the brutality and not the production company Tswelopele and it seems I was right because Pasella's made by Tswelopele so they're obviously on her side.
Two other new presenters are joining Pasella with her: Sean-Marco Vorster, who hosted the short lived Afrikaans lifestyle show Naweek and actress Carmen Pretorius, who most recently made her debut on Isidingo as Tiffany.
The three of them join Pasella's regular hosts Paul Rothman, Dieter Voigt, Melinda Bam, Vicky Davis, Lynelle Kenned and Hemelbesem who are all returning.
The season starts on Friday, 5 February at 19h30.
