Some excellent, long awaited news... The Voice SA will be on at a much better time on M-Net City from today. It's going to be airing the day after the broadcast on M-Net instead of a whooooooole week later on Saturdays.
As from tonight (Monday, 18 April) it's going to air on M-Net City at 19h30, which means M-Net City viewers can also vote for the winner now that the live shows have started.
I've been stressing about it because it would have been impossible for M-Net City viewers to vote for the winner with the previous set-up. The voting lines open during Sunday's live show on M-Net and close on Thursdays at 22h00 so M-Net City audiences wouldn't have been able to get involved because the episode wouldn't have aired yet.
But all's well that ends well. Everyone can vote and we won't be divided by such huge time differences between episodes. Now all we need is for MTV to take note to sort out the scheduling mess of Lip Sync Battle Africa!
The change to The Voice means that Heroes Reborn will fall away on M-Net City on Mondays at 19h30 - it will still air in its other timeslots: Tuesdays at 11h00, Thursdays at 14h00 and Saturdays at 15h00.
The Saturday broadcast of The Voice will still be on at 18h00 for anyone who misses the Monday show but the voting lines will be closed when it does.
