You've been wondering about her and here she is...
... Sphesihle Cele, Jack's stepdaughter on Generations.
She arrives on the scene on 16 June and she's played by a fresh, new face: Pearl Monama.
The role marks Pearl's TV debut, following two years of working in theatre and film. She graduated with an Honours degree from the University of Pretoria two years ago and was cast as one of the leads in the movie Suurlemoen shortly after graduating.
The movie's about a group of teens who start a band called Suurlemoen and it gave Pearl the platform to show off two of the languages she speaks: Afrikaans and music.
She plays the band's drummer in the film and plays the drums herself. She sings, dances and also speaks Sepedi, Zulu and Xhosa.
She knows how to speak "medical" too because Sphesihle's a doctor on Gen. - and she's grateful to Jack. Jack took her and her brother under his wing when their father died and she appreciates the fatherly role he provided so she's willing to do something in return.
We can't spill what it is to avoid spoiling things but let's just say that she's going to do Jack a big favour.
