TLC's Presenter Search made a comeback today with the launch of a new search for 2016/2017.

The channel's on a mission to find a presenter for a new four part series called TLC's Most Extreme, which will air in early 2017.

As the name suggests, the series will feature clips of the most extreme, gripping and outrageous moments in TLC's history.

The channel's looking for someone to follow in the footsteps of David Mbeha, who won the first Presenter Search last year.

If this is the gig for You, then here's what to do:

How to enter

You need to submit a 90-second video audition that showcases your presenting skills. You need to explain why you have what it takes to be the perfect presenter and you need to present a pre-written script.

There are two scripts that you can use: one by Buddy Valastro and another by Randy Fenoli. Click on their names below to download each of them. (Each one opens in a new window.)

Once you've completed your video you need to upload it to the Presenter Search website here: TLC's The Next Great Presenter Search.

You can also submit it via e-mail. The website include tips on delivering a good audition.

Must knows

All auditionees:
  • Must be 18 +
  • Be available to travel,
  • Must speak english,
  • Have no criminal record,
  • Be a TLC fan.
Anyone from across the African continent can enter.

Entries opened today (25 July) and close on Monday, 22 August.

How the winner will be chosen

Each audition will be reviewed by a team of experts, and the top 12 will be taken on to the boot camp stage, where three finalists will be selected by the panel of judges. Viewers will vote for their favourite from three and the winner set to be revealed live at star-studded event in Joziburg later this year.

The prize

The winner will be flown to London - to TLC's studios - to film the four part series.

The winner will also win a holiday for two and a documentary all about them.

Good luck!
