On Friday, 26 August 2016 a surprise newcomer arrives on Muvhango in the midst of Lerumo's memorial service.

This surprise arrival is a major new character called Serithi Mojalefa and she's played by Rhythm City actress Molobane Mbatha who's going to blow into town with revenge on her mind.

TVSA got inside access to the secrets of her character which we can spill with you today. This is what you need to know about her:

1. She's Moriti's twin sister.
2. They married the same man. Yip! Serithi married Lerumo shortly before his death.
3. She goes into business with Thandaza by buying Pheko’s 45% share at Basadi (with Lerumo’s money).
4. She's Gizara's ex-girlfriend.

This final factor is the most important thing about her because this has been driving her for two decades and it's made her who she is. Ultimately she's a woman whose story needs to be told during Women's Month.

Serithi first met Gizara 20 years ago while she was studying at the University of Venda. She met him at Mukwevho’s Supermarkets in Thohoyandou while she was buying stationary for an exam. She was running late for the exam and Gizara offered to drive her back to university so she could make the exam in time.

This sparked a passionate love affair between them but then... Serithi fell pregnant and Gizara wanted to take her as a second wife but Vho-Masindi and Vho-Sarah refused to allow it.

They forced Serithi to have a backstreet abortion which impacted on her life forever because it left her so scarred she's unable to have children. This is what Gizara allowed to happen. He stood by and didn't do a thing and it's why she's B.A.C.K because she wants justice for what was done to her.

She wants Gizara and the Mukwevhos to pay for the family they took from her and she's been so focused on this for all these years that she's forgotten how to live. But she doesn't realise it.

Will she? Time will tell.

Molobane Mbatha is a phenomenal actress. She did justice to the Moriti character unlike the original actress. Looking forward to that drama.

@ Ms Opinionated she's playing Moriti's twin sister, I take it they are identical twins, LOL!
What happened to Carol and the baby? Was the baby Lerumo's in the end?

Really don't get it, why are they trying to do the same thing that Generations did, to use one person for different characters?

Good thing I don't watch this show anymore. What a joke it's become.

Some gossip we've heard about Molobane's casting as Moriti...  turns out they cast her just before Moriti's death because former Moriti actress Tshidi Vera was uncomfortable with playing her death scene. She didn't want to do the scene so they cast Molobane to do it instead.

Mzansi magic is the way to go, muvhango story line now has no head and tail even the actors must be bored now.

Thandaza and Vafuwi and KK are wasting their talent on that directionless drama.

Mzansi magic should come up with another vhenda drama and recruit the likes of Kk and the chief and even mulimisi.  It will be a matter of time before viewershi falls.

"Tshidi Vera was uncomfortable with playing her death scene. She didn't want to do the scene so they cast Molobane to do it instead"

She is definately not a hungry actress, she probably does it as a hobby.

Thanks TVSA for the inside scoop

Lol Tshidi Vera knows her limitations ,she is a terrible actor she knew very well she would not be able to pull off those dying scenes.she did what is best for the audience .
