Evencio tells Eva he will be a witness in the trial, and intends to reveal the whole truth. Marlene overhears Adriana talking about her pregnancy.

Eva’s trial begins, and Victor tries to get Evencio disqualified as a witness. Marisol reveals that she was abused by her stepfather many years ago.

At the trial, Bertha insists that Eva would be incapable of killing. Marlene argues with Adriana about her pregnancy. Noemi tells Esteban the truth.

Adriana asks Noemi to help her have an abortion. Noemi tries to get her to change her mind. When she learns where Adriana is going, Eva intervenes.

Adriana tells her father that she is expecting Andy’s baby. Marcos declares in court that there is no way Eva could have committed the crime.

Marlene denies that Eva asked Armando for a divorce. Armando confesses to Javier that he loves Eva. Pablo asks the jury to declare Eva innocent.

The tension mounts as everyone waits for the outcome of the trial. Armando tries to speak with Eva, but with no success. The verdict is announced.

Armando tells Javier he is willing to return everything to Eva. Pablo and Eva make love. Eva gets phone call, telling her about a fatal road accident.

Marlene blackmails Armando into getting married, threatening to reveal his drug trafficking and to blame him for the deaths of Carmen and Sofia.

Marlene learns that Soraya is alive. Martin and Diego get a shock. Armando hears what happened to the Mogollons, and tells Eva he is marrying Marlene.

Eva tells Martin she has ended her relationship with Pablo, and refuses to let Pablo visit her. She suspects that Marlene is blackmailing Armando.

Evencio tells Pablo that he now remembers what happened on the day of Sofia’s death. Armando and Marlene´s wedding invitation arrives at Eva´s house.
