M-Net turns 30 in October this year and will be celebrating the occasion by introducing a bonus channel called M-Net Movies BlockParty for Premium subscribers.

It's going to run for 24-hours a day through October on channel 109 and will feature comedy movies, shows and stand-up comedy gigs. The weeknight primetime line-up will start with classic comedy shows at 19h30, followed by comedy movies at 20h30 and stand-up comedy shows from 22h00.

There's also going be a TV special to mark the milestone. It's a two hour special about the history and evolution of M-Net which hasn't been schedule yet. Keep a watch on the TVSA highlights for it - we'll keep you in the loop when it airs.
