Sarah Jessica Parker's on her way back to TV with her first lead role since her Carrie Bradshaw days on Sex and the City.
Her new 10 episode series Divorce (which she executively produces too) premieres in America on HBO on 9 October and starts here on M-Net Edge on Friday, 14 October at 21h00.
So you know what it's about from the title - one of the most underexplored topics on TV. So many people do it and yet it frequently gets treated so glibly, particularly when it comes to what happens
before you get divorced.
This is what the series deals with, a couple who go through an extended divorce because they don't know if it's the right thing to do or not.
Sarah stars as Francis, who's been married for 20 years. She suddenly realises that she isn't happy, reassesses her life and decides she wants a fresh start and a divorce. But then she discovers that it isn't as easy to leave her husband Robert (Thomas Haden Church) who struggles to cope with the fact that their marriage is falling apart.
