Survivor Cagayan: The Brain and Tony step up as season faves

Ha! Poor thing. Alexis has to go down as one of the most deeply disappointed snuffed Survivors in the history of the show. It's the only moment that I've been able to relate to her because any self respecting fan would want to make the merge at the very least.

But Spencer didn't have any sympathy for her because he considers her a phony and he relayed the message to the whole of The Brain who've secured their place as my fave players/player of the season.

I'm surprised and impressed that Spencer's remained so loyal, Kass has grown on me bigtime and I've always rooted for Tasha so they're my faves of the season.

The only other person I'm rooting for is Tony. I thought he was going to be a mastermind/Boston Rob type with his skulduggerous stories but now it's clear that he doesn't have a clue what he's doing which makes him very funny because he thinks he's such a "playa". When he went off about "Top 5, baby! " after the Immunity Challenge I was cringing in delight because he's so deluded it's a sight to behold.

Same thing when he told his tribe he's a policeman! The look on LJ's face was classic because it's obviously going to be a big problem now, which Tony didn't see. I usually only support castaways who know what they're doing but in Tony's case it's quite the opposite because he's so amusing.

Unlike Trish who's definitely the sort you'd feel the intense need to smack. Not that I'm advocating being a Quitty McQuitterson like Lindsey was, I'm just saying that I understand her frenzy.

Check out this interview with her (it doesn't have any spoilers) where she says that she smacked people when she was younger and didn't want her daughter to see her getting violent on TV - a pity 'cos it would have something to see.

Ultimately Trish won the battle between them but it won't last long because the merge arrives next week and police officer Sarah will be much more powerful than her. Sarah's got it going on because everyone likes her and ignores her and she isn't perceived to be a threat in any way whatsoever.

The Brain will be in an excellent position too because they've got the strongest alliance by far.

Catch my Survivor ramblings every week after the show.

Haha Alexis's blindside felt quite rewarding for some reason. Maybe because I like Jeremiah alot and he unfairly had that target placed on his back. Tony sure is entertaining but the seeds for his demise are sewn this week. I am also Team Brain - I think Kass especially has been playing a great game. The Trish vs. Lindsay thing was quite bizarre and while Trish seems a bit unhinged I don't think she said anything that could be construed as 'abusive'. oh well.
