TVSA can exclusively reveal that Connie Ferguson will be back on Generations in 2017. She'll be making her
third return to the soapie in January.
She won't be around permanently - just long enough to freak the "au!" out of Tau (Rapulana Seiphemo). She'll be back for a burst of episodes to finalise their divorce and to settle the score with him.
Karabo's relationship with Tau has turned out to be an echo of Connie's on-again/off-again relationship with the soapie.
Connie, who's currently starring on Mzansi Magic's The Queen,
first left Gen in 2010 after 16 years with the show. She returned to inject her legacy back into the series after the
2014 firing fiasco and she stayed for two years.
She quit the show a second time in April this year to pursue her other TV projects and she's been lured back again. At the time of leaving she said that she'd be back for certain storylines and it's happening sooner rather later.
The show and Tau are going to indulge in some serious Karabo addiction while she's around because Tau finds himself all over her. Prepare for f!reworks in the bedroom peeps.
And then... things get extremely hectic between them before she leaves. We can't go into the deets of why or how so as not to give too much away, let's just say that things will never be the same between them.
Here's a peek of what you can expect from their reunion:
