What madness! Last week I was convinced that Tony had changed his alliance to team up with The Brain and now he's straight back with Kass and The Horse because they've been so hoodwinked by him. And I feel as if I have been too because I can't loathe him for it.
They believe every lie he spins and it's gobsmacking to see. Instead of seeing how manipulative he is, they like him even more. I'm starting to agree with what Spencer said at Tribal - that Tony will get votes if he makes it to the end.
It seemed impossible but it's becoming more probable because his crazy, unpredictable gameplay is actually working. He has fans everywhere he turns!
I'm extremely thankful it was Jeremiah and his annoying accent who got the snuff instead of Tasha and Spencer who kicked butt brilliantly. I know they're in such a dangerous situation and yet I have a deep sense of faith that they're going to make the final three because it's how things have gone for them since Kass betrayed them.
My ultimate Top 3 are Spencer, Tasha and Tony because it would make the final showdown intensely exciting - would be a perfect end to an excellent season.
The episodes are flying by in a heartbeat, espesh with the return of the weekly Reward Challenges. I far prefer them to Redemption Island footage because of their dramatic impact on the social dynamics of the game. They also highlight crucial things like how influenced Jeffra is by Tony. She was 100% ready to do a switcheroo until she returned from the reward and entered his range.
I've always loved seeing them get their rewards - always wonder if I'd scoff the food like they do because it's so unecessary. Yes, you'd be starving but the way they smack their faces with it seems very overdone.
Their tears when they read their letters from home are more understandable. When you're so isolated from your friends and family, surrounded by enemies, I can imagine that words from a loved one would plunge you over an emotional cliff.
The emotional equivalent of what happened to Woo and the tree, ha. His recovery from the fall was impressive - like a game character recharging energy. With all the attention on Tony and The Brain, he's going from strength to strength and The Brain know it. He's a daaaark horse and they all need to do something about him if they hope to win.
Catch my Survivor ramblings every week after the show.
