Iman Rappetti, Jeremy Maggs put life ahead of the news

eNCA's stalwart primetime news anchors Jeremy Maggs and Iman Rappetti are shaking up their lives with a radical shift to their days - and nights.

Both Iman and Jeremy have resigned as the anchors from eNCA's primetime news coverage on NewsNight.

Iman will be leaving completely after 11 years with the channel and Jeremy, who's anchored NewsNight for nine years, will be moving to eNCA's lunchtime show, Newsday. It all happens in May.

Word from each of them is that they've made the decision to focus on their families. *Picture the different evenings their families will have.*

This from each of them...

Iman: “It has been a heady, tough, rewarding, crazy ride. The decision to leave is not an easy one but I need to put my family first.”

Jeremy: "After anchoring well over 1000 editions of NewsNight it’s high time I pass on the baton to a new team and get home a little earlier in the evening. I’ve been in discussion with the channel about this move for the past year and management has been both understanding and sensitive to my need for a change. I want to pay special tribute to Iman, my co-host for the past five years. Every night on air together has been a treat."

Oh no my favourite duo!!!! Atleast we'll still get to see Jeremy, but sad to see Iman go though.
