South African Police Service (SAPS) show When Duty Calls is back on SABC2 from tonight, Thursday, 7 September at 22h00.
After a production break of several months, the SAPS is very pleased to announce that its very own television programme When Duty Calls is back on air every Thursday night at 22h00 on SABC2.
The new season sees two new presenters from within the SAPS ranks: Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu and Captain Kgaogelo Chokoe, who will host the show. The season sees an introduction of a new format, which aims to inform and empower audiences.
Crime affects everyone in the country and watching the show will equip you with crime-awareness tips and what to do in what situation. The show promises to bring an in-depth report on crime in South Africa by showcasing the re-enactment of crime scenes. Interviews with victims, key-witnesses as well SAPS investigating officers will also be aired.
Each episode tells the the story of a crime and the police investigation that follows. It also works to expose criminals by revealing their modus operandi with a view of preventing future crimes in communities.
