The Soul Man returns for a fourth season with Cedric the Entertainer as Reverend Boyce "The Voice" Ballentine, more determined than ever to re-energise his father's church with the help of his wife and first lady Lolli (Niecy Nash).
Not helping matters is the arrival of his loose cannon cousin Nikki (Sherri Shepherd), the neediness of his brother Stamps (Wesley Jonathan) who's reeling from the loss of his girlfriend and his business, or his judgmental father Barton (John Beasley).
In the Season 4 premiere, Boyce gets snowed in with his family, including his irritating cousin Nikki, when a storm shuts down St. Louis. Meanwhile, Stamps begins to have doubts about his long-distance relationship with Kim.
