Restaurateur and chef Robert Irvine loves a challenge – but is he up to the tricky task of transforming America's worst restaurants into successful businesses? With stubborn owners, run-down kitchens and slovenly staff, Robert's mission seems like it might be impossible.
First, Robert and his team take on a rib and spaghetti house with bullish owners who are too stubborn to accept help, and then they bring their expertise to an inexperienced mum trying to launch a new business with her late husband's life insurance policy.
Is there hope for these struggling American eateries, or is this too difficult a task for even tough-love Robert?
