The 66th Miss Universe pageant – which takes place at The Axis in Las Vegas – will be screened live on Vuzu (see below for repeat broadcasts).
South Africa is represented this year by 22-year-old Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, a B.Comm graduate from the Western Cape, who took the Miss South Africa 2017 crown in March this year.
Demi-Leigh is odds-on favourite for the win according to bookies, with her nearest competitors Miss Thailand, Miss Philippines, Miss Colombia, Miss Venezuela and Miss USA.
