A new novela with supernatural elements premieres on EVA this month, replacing
When I Fall In Love which ends on Christmas night.
Taxxi premieres on Tuesday, 26 December at 16h00, with a repeat at 22h00, and tells the story of taxi driver Martin Montana and his true love heart.
Here's a feel of what to expect, followed by the first teasers:
Martin Montana lost his wife 15 years ago. He meets a woman identical to his past wife named Tania, who he becomes obsessed with. Tania leads him to a sinister character, Mr. Moretti.
Martin overlooks the fact that Moretti is Dr. Aron Mattsson, his old professor, and rival who has come back to execute the perfect revenge against him. Tania does not realise that she is in fact Martin’s wife and that Moretti turned her into another person to kill the man she loved.
Moretti will soon learn that sometimes true love is an impossible force that cannot be stopped or controlled.

Moretti and Tania make significant advances in their master plan against Martin, and Tania invites Martin to one of Moretti's establishments to keep a close eye on him. Meanwhile, Diego and Ema take their relationship to the next level.

Lucia feels great confusion about her feelings towards Diego as their relationship gains positive momentum, and Tania falls ill in front of Martin, subsequently putting Moretti's master plan in danger of getting exposed.

Episode 4
Tania battles with a powerful internal dilemma as she goes through with her plan against Martin, only to develop confusing feelings towards him. Meanwhile, Lucia and Diego's plan for a first date is thrown off by an unforeseen surprise.
