From executive producer Queen Latifah, The Rap Game is a loud docu-series that follows rapper and music mogul Jermaine Dupri as he mentors five of the country's hottest aspiring young rappers.
Jermaine is the powerhouse musical force behind hip hop superstars such as Mariah Carey, Usher and Bow Wow, and in this series he puts his expertise to the test by inviting five young potential rap superstars – and their manager moms – to move into his Atlanta mansion.
While in the mansion, the kids will be tasked with learning every aspect of the music business in the hopes of achieving their ultimate rap superstar dream: being signed to Jermaine's label, So So Def.
Over the course of eight weeks, Jermaine will put the kids through his customised rap boot camp to school them in all facets of the rap game.
Through constant evaluations, Jermaine will determine what each of these kids needs to become a star – and an artist at his highly successful label.
This season, Rappers Da Brat, Bow Wow, DNA, K-Shine, & Blessed, human beat-boxer Doug E Fresh, celebrity drummer Tony Royster Jr., actress KeKe Palmer, singer Teyana Taylor, producers Zaytoven & Bryan Michael Cox, DJ Toomp and director Benny Boom, join Dupri to help guide the artists to victory.
The rappers this season are:
Lil Bri (15) - Houston, Texas - Brianna Burns (aka "Lil Bri") writes all her own lyrics, produces, choreographs, and even won the Arts and Humanities Award from Michelle Obama.
RapUnzel (15) - Richmond, Virginia - As if her given name, Brazil Barber, wasn't cool enough, this rapper goes by "Rap-Unzel." She started writing rhymes and rapping around age 9 and is a straight A student who is all about using her gifts to make it big for herself and her family.

Jordan (14) - Tulsa, Oklahoma - Jordan is a mixed-race teen from middle America whose goal is to rap about issues that change the minds of listeners for the better.
Street Bud (11) - Atlanta, Georgia - Jeremiah (aka Street Bud) is the youngest rapper this season and strives to be a positive influence for his young audiences by rapping about getting good grades and staying out of trouble.
