The Insider sees Reggie Yates live life for real inside some of the world's most brutal institutions.
In Season 2, Reggie heads to Ghana to live on one of the largest e-waste dumps in the world. Working with a group of 'burner boys', he discovers what life is like for the people who seek out a living on the dangerous and toxic waste site.
Reggie then heads to the Middle East to spend a week living in the largest refugee camp in Iraq that's home to 30,000 Syrian refugees.
What's it really like to be a 21st century refugee? And what's it like to plan for your future when you can't go home and you can't move on?
In the final episode, Reggie is back in jail - but this time as a guard. Working inside Guildford County Jail in North Carolina, he helps guard nearly a thousand prisoners - whose crimes range from minor misdemeanours to murder.
What is it like working in a system operating under unprecedented scrutiny? And having seen incarceration from the other side, does he feel part of the solution? Or part of the problem?
