While
Uzalo bids farewell to Leleti Khumalo as MaNzuza tonight, e.tv has revealed that she'll be playing MaZulu Bhengu on the channel's new soapie
Imbewu: The Seed when it premieres in April.
Other details on the series' characters and plot have been disclosed and reveal that Duma Ndlovu (one of the co-producers of the project) believes in second chances - or he's a sucker for punishment.
Headlining the series alongside Leleti is the infamous Mpumelelo Bhulose A.K.A Gxabhashe, who went from hero to zero when he was fired from Uzalo in a heated behind-the-scenes spat that went on for months. (

Mpumelelo stars as Zimele, a member of the Bhengu family, one of the families central to Imbewu's plot.
Other family members are played by Durban-born Thembi Mtshali-Jones (as MaNdlovu), Muvhango star Raphael Griffiths (as Zithulele), Fundi Zwane (as KaMandosela), Nqobile Ndlovu (as Kanyo), Vuyokazi Tshona (as Buhle), Sandile Dlamini (as Phakade), Nokubonga Khuzwayo (as Zakithi), Xolani Mfeka (as Nganono) and Nokwanda Khuzwayo (as Futhi).
Here's a description of the Bhengu situation:
In a modern society which worships wealth and rewards ruthless acts of power, the Bhengu family must live in the shadow of a potent secret stemming from ancient traditional practice.
One side of the Bhengu family has been keeping a secret from the other for many years, with treachery and tumult never more than a step away.
Brothers Zimele and Phakade are both honorable men, but one will feel betrayed when he learns of a deep secret that could leave a stain on the legacy he hopes to leave for his four children.
The potential fallout is certain to provoke controversial questions about values and legacies, relevant to all South African cultures.
According to e.tv, the Bhengu family is intended to be a reflection of many South African families and the show's storyline aims to explore the unique interaction between rural and urban lifestyles in the country.
It's also going to showcase the struggles and conflicts between home and corporate settings and the emotional tension created by the economic gap between the haves and have-nots.
