The budget speech will be delivered live from the National Assembly Chamber by Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba, who has some serious questions to answer about how to get our ecomony back on track after years of looting and plundering by Zuma and his cronies.
Perhaps slightly worrying is that on the National Treasury's own website leading up to the speech, Gigaba was asking for tips from the public to certain questions he should probably be able to answer himself.
These include "How can government ensure economic growth benefits more people, so unemployment, poverty and inequality are reduced?" and "How can we achieve an economic growth rate of 7% a year over the next 20 years?".
Check the form out here.
If Malusi is asking the public for their tips on these issues, it suggests he doesn't have answers to his own questions, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in his ability to do the job.
But benefit of the doubt, nje? Shem. Let's all tune in to find out.
