Azwindini has an inexplicable reaction to the news of Ndiwanga’s illness. Moliehi pulls all the stops to ensure that her marriage to James goes ahead no matter what. Imani and Ranthomeng’s first wedding anniversary doesn’t turn out as Imani has hoped.

Mukololo wa Thathe is urgently needed, Mulimisi tells Azwindini that it’s a matter of life and death. Gugu is shocked by what Moliehi tells her to do. Imani paints a picture of a beautiful wedding fairytale in public but behind closed doors her marriage is falling apart.

The royal house is thrown into disarray following Mulalo’s interdict. James’ house finally finds harmony. But it is short-lived. Imani is gutted when she opens Ranthomeng’s gift.

Rendani is summoned to Thathe in the middle of the night. James shows the Zikalala’s that he’s a force to be reckoned with. The cracks that Imani worked so hard to cover up in her marriage finally make their way to Gugu’s eyes.

Faces turns sour in the Royal House when Vho-Makhadzi announces the new regent. The Zikalala’s up the ante in their cat and mouse game with James and Moliehi. When Gugu tells Imani about what she saw last night, Imani immediately dismisses her suspicions.

Hangwani cannot believe her ears, when she’s told about the new developments in Thathe. Gugu and Brother Max connect. Imani decides that revenge is a sweet way of getting back at someone.

Pendani is presented to everyone as the Regent of Thathe. Brother Max is not the man Gugu thought he was. Imani’s blind date doesn’t go as she had hoped.

Mulalo and Teboho’s victory is short-lived when they get beaten with their own stick. Gugu’s gift reignites Brother Max’s passion for music. Ranthomeng gets the taste of his own medicine.

Rendani is on a mission to discover what lies behind Mulalo’s turnaround on the airport deal. Gugu’s gift causes Brother Max to have new insights into himself. Imani’s new-found confidence has Ranthomeng jumping to conclusions.

Too many characters and very confusing.

This 18 months later story pick-up, is more like a botched attempt to revive Muvhango. Epic fail from the writers part. Although, i've been asking myself if whether this 18 months later story pick-up isn't it some sort of ploy instigated by the writers of Muvhango to remove the show away from the "Thandaza Mukwevho-Mokwena" era? Because, let's us not kid ourselves, Thandaza has been a center of this show, an epitome, if you will. When you think of Muvhango you think of Thandaza. And the writers of Muvhango, very much know this. And the loose-end of whether Thandaza is dead, or not proves it. I think the leaving of Sindi Dlathu (or shall we say, her taking a break from Muvhango), placed a huge burden to the writers of this show. They were faced with a task to move the storylines away from Thandaza, and also the fact that they don't know if whether Sindi Dlathu is coming back, didn't help much either, if anything, it made it worse. And yes, that's no excuse, since they are writers, they were supposed to find the most compelling, entertaining way to move the show (whether temporarily or indefinitely) from the "Thandaza" era. This 18 months later pick up is amateurish and is the most uncreative, most unentertaining way to move the show from Thandaza. I believe they should have done alot better. For sometime now, Muvhango has been doing it, hitting the right notes especially with the Konanani storyline, her storyline brought me hope. I thought to myself, "finally, Muvhango is getting it". But then again, this is Muvhango, you can't place a lot of hope on this show. And yes, 18 months later, Mulimisi is still disgusting, never mind his useless theatrics. Over the years, this character has become redundant. Nothing interesting about this character anymore.

How on earth could an intelligent man like Rhantomeng marry a bimbo like Imani after being married to a powerhouse like Thandaza? And live in her house, not even painted different colours and sleep in her bed?! And it is also way to predictable with the chief and Lithu's daughter and how could the chief suddenly be Tenda's best buddy and sideline Mulalo? Muvhango lost it's appeal altogether.

@Alida J don't they all just? Typical Intelligent, businessmen... don't they just go after ditzy bimbo's to marry them off? They (Intelligent men) can't tolerate a passionate, ambitious an intelligent women. Especially if/when they were in a previous relationship with such women (just like Ranthumeng). Imani is merely a trophy wife nothing more. ****************************************************** And whilst I am still on that complaining tip about Muvhango's desperate attempt to revive this show. Let me add... I don't understand the logic behind the return of the character of Meme Kotsokoane to the show. Why the producers bring the character back only now? It's not like the character was big. She had her term and I adored her. BUT it's time they've moved on. The character itself had reached an expiry date and it should remain dead and buried, indefinitely.

This 1 year jump is such nonsense true. 1 minute Ranthomeng gets a disturbing phone call next his married to Imani. Livu just found out an is pregnant then they having a 1 year party go the child. Mxm GUGU n Reshaka just over like that. This is crap to jump a while 1 year ahead.

Very confusing especially the part of Ranthu and Imani, Livhu already has a baby, James` married!!! like seriously.....just hope that Mulimisi is dreaming and he'll wake up soon otherwise.....boring

18th months later...wow this is really confusion, Thandaza dies and we don't even get a chance to witness her funeral, after she was part of Muvhango from day 1, no no no Muvhango writers you need to think again...

Now Muvhango is really on the downhill path. Why can't James see through his wife? What happened to all the other well-loved characters like Vusi, KK and even Sthe? No no Muvhango writers - wrong track alltogether.
