Adios Sara. Hello'a! Vicenta. Woman of Steel returns to Telemundo this March for a 93-episode third season, with a new Woman in charge.
Season 2 marked the end of the story of drug trafficker Sara Aguilar and Season 3 introduces us to someone new: Vicenta Rigores, played by Carolina Miranda.
Vicenta is a Mexican border coyote who helps immigrants cross the border between Mexico and America. She's one of the most respected coyote's in Mexico because immigrants love her - she protects them with her life.
Of course there are those who want her dead and she has the chops to handle them because it turns out she's the illegitimate daughter of drug trafficker Vicente Acero, and half sister to Salvador Acero of Seasons 1 and 2 so she has close connections to Sara.
The series follows Vicenta's exploits as she takes on the Acero name, replacing Sara as Señora Acero. When the series aired in America it aired as Señora Acero but it remains Woman of Steel for us.
In the first episode of the new season, Vicenta Acero is helping a group of immigrants cross the border, when the Tijuana cartel shows up and ruins her plans.
