Ring of Lies replaced by new Mzansi Magic series The Throne

Ring of Lies throws it's final punch next month when Season 2 comes to an end. As you may have noticed in the teasers, episodes run out on Thursday, 26 July after a 208-episode season.

And it's not contuining for Season 3 because a new 19h00 nightly called The Throne starts the following Monday (30 July).

What's it about? Your guess is as good as ours.

There's no info. on it from Mzansi Magic so all we can do is speculate. First impressions suggest its The Queen Light. Someone wants a Throne obviously but they want it at 19h00 instead of 21h00 so it's not as heavyweight.

This is our prediction of what it's about:

Two families at war. A feud that's lasted for generations. One throne. You know the drill.

About The Queen, was it not supposed to be a Telenovela? Why is it still on after so long or did I miss the announcement that its now a soapie? About The Throne: I'll watch depending on the cast and production. I totally agree with your prediction
