The first notable Star Life finale takes place this week with the end of
Waiting for Love.
It's been airing on Star Life since the channel went live in August this year and it ends this Friday (16 November), in a double bill.
So what's on the skeds from next week?
The Crossroads.
Known in India as: Dahleez. Also known as: The Threshold.
It's a romantic courtroom drama/thriller that centres round Swadheenta and Adarsh.
Swadheenta is a lawyer who comes from a middle class family and Adarsh is an officer of the IAS (the Indian Administrative Service), who comes from an influential legal family.
They're brought together by their desire for truth and justice. As you know, this is a soul-defining struggle, especially when you're trapped in a system of bureaucracy, which both of them are.
As a recently graduated lawyer, Swadheenta is unaware of the dirty politics she's going to face when she tries to help those who need her.
The pair of them are also at the mercy of terrorism and other people in their lives, especially Adarsh's mother and Swadheenta’s mentor.
The translation of the show's name refers to their different personalities as can be seen in this Tweet by Star Life in India:
The series stars Indian film actress Tridha Choudhury as Swadheenta and Adarsh is played by TV actor and model Harshad Arora, whose schmodel looks got him mobbed while filming the show.
It was filmed in New Delhi and according to India Today, filming was brought to a standstill when fans descended on him in a quest for selfies.
Here's a link to an article about it that was published during the shoot:

The series will air at the same times as Waiting for Love, from Mondays to Fridays at 21h00, with two episodes a night.
