DJ Arch Jnr: Then (2015) and Now (2018)
SA's Got Talent winner DJ Arch Jnr will be competing against international acts in the new 2019 season of America's Got Talent.
DJ Arch (real name Oratilwe Hlongwane) has been chosen as one of the 50 acts for The Champions, an alternative season of AGT which brings together winning/finalist acts from series round the world - or so the show claims.
25 acts have been confirmed so far and the majority of them are from the American series so the "round the world" angle is flimsy.
DJ Arch is one of nine acts who aren't American, and he's now six-years-old - double the age he was when he won Season 6 in 2015.
At the time of his win
there was big controversy about whether he was actually DJ'ing or if his father Glen was creating premixes for him to act to.
Will this happen with AGT?
He's been positioned as the World's Youngest DJ so will the novelty of his act have worn off now that he's older?
Here's a link to a show he did in Oudtshoorn yesterday (18 November 2018):
