Hitched

Channel: Travel Channel (DStv 179)
TX Time: 20h00
Genre: Travel, Reality

Cousins and avid travellers, Luke MacDonald and Jordan Deall, are taking the road trip of a lifetime to pursue a childhood dream.

They are searching for the world's last dinosaur, Mokele Mbembe, in the heart of the Congolese jungle. If the quest for this legendary beast sounds crazy, there's an even more far-fetched plan to get there: they're hitch-hiking.

Starting in South Africa, Luke and Jordan hitch all the way to the DRC, traversing countries such as Botswana and Namibia to Zambia and Tanzania. It's not an easy ride as they face political unrest, war zones and malaria, but they also gain an appreciation for the diversity and natural beauty of Africa and its people in a whole new way.

Condor

Channel: M-Net City (DStv 115)
TX Time: 20h50
Genre: Thriller

Conspiracy thriller based on the novel Six Days of the Condor by James Grady which follows a young CIA analyst who stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions.

Young CIA analyst Joe Turner is an idealistic millennial who secretly joins the CIA hoping to reform it from within. But when everyone in his office is massacred by professional killers, this brilliant analyst is forced out of his ivory tower think tank and into battle with the most dangerous elements in the military-industrial complex.

If he is to have any chance of surviving, Joe will have to do things he never imagined himself capable of – and discover that no one knows their true character until they've been tested under fire.

What the Killer Did Next

Channel: Crime + Investigation (DStv 170)
TX Time: 20h50
Genre: True Crime, Documentary Series

When a murderer kills, what do they choose to do in the following minutes, hours and days after their crime? What do those choices tell us about the mind of that killer?

Each episode begins with the gruesome murder of a victim, a dramatic Columbo-esque kickstart to the story. We know who did it, how it was done and then the cat and mouse game begin.

The story splits into two parallel narratives: the ensuing movements of the murderer, seeing what they did next and that of the police teams who are on the ground, finding the clues and solving the mystery; and finally, bringing perpetrators to justice.
