On Monday (8 July) Eva premieres a new telenovela inspired by the 19th century classic novel Little Women by famed American author Louisa May Alcott.
It premieres at 14h00, with a primetime broadcast at 20h00, and transports the action from Massachusetts (where the original novel is set) to Peru.
The series isn't exactly the same as the novel but stays true to its core by telling the story of four teenage sisters: Beatriz, Josefina, Mercedes and Amanda.
Another big similarity is that the story begins when their lives are sent into upheaval after the loss of their father. In the novel he goes to war and in the series he dies.
The foursome has to begin a new life without him, while facing the problems that exist in Peru.
The show explores how they fight for their goals and the welfare of their family, especially that of their mother Vivana.
According to Eva, the channel's version aims to inspire women today by proving that whatever life deals you, you have to be strong and fight for your rights.
Flash fact: The title of the novel refers to that time in a young woman's life where childhood overlaps with womanhood.
