Ever wondered where you can buy the furniture from the set of Generations: The Legacy?

Timone posted a message on the
TVSA Message Boards asking us about Gadaffi's dining room suite. Where did the show buy it?
We contacted Gen's publicity manager Nandipha Pantsi who tells us that the dining set is a combo set-up: the table was bought from Coricroft and the chairs with the striped orange backs were custom made by the show's art department.
Turns out Gen could open their own furniture store or auction house because a lot of the furniture is made in-house.
The art department consists of approximately 30 to 40 people who are kept busy creating sets, furniture, props and costumes at the show's studios at Auckland Park.
Right now they're in lockdown, busy-busy working on the artwork for Lucy's wedding,
coming' up for spr!ng.
If you have a TV question you'd like answered you can you send us an Ask by e-mailing us at
