Sixteen women compete for the crown and title of Miss South Africa in a Women's Day event televised live and simulcast on Mzansi Magic and M-Net.
The pageant is once again hosted this year by Bonang Matheba and like last year takes place at the Sun Arena at Time Square, Pretoria.
The judges are reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray, her predecessor Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, talk and radio jock Anele Mdoda, actress and businesswoman Connie Ferguson and model, activist and lawyer Thando Hopa.
The Top 16 finalists come from four of the country's provinces and were chosen by the following judges: actress and motivational speaker Leandie du Randt, broadcaster and Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie, former runway model and casting director Andiswa Manxiwa, Miss South Africa 2010 Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala and Women's Health editor Danielle Weakley.
There is close to R3-million in prize money and sponsorships for this year's pageant, with the winner walking away with R1-million in cash as well as other prizes.
The runner-up takes home R250,000 in cash and all 16 finalists will receive R25,000.

The Mindy Project 2

Meanwhile, Schulman & Associates welcome their new resident OB/GYN Paul Leotard (guest star James Franco), a charming, former model who also happens to be a sex therapist and offers sex therapy advice to Danny and Christina.

The vocalists compete to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to be named The Voice.

The series chronicles many cases including the well-known disappearance of Annie Le, a young beautiful Yale student who vanished before her wedding; as well as Gail and Rick Brink, happy newlyweds whose marriage ended in a tragedy and remained unsolved for decades until an unexpected witness revealed a disturbing family secret.
From the bride and groom, to a family member, or even a jealous wedding guest - anyone could be the victim or suspect when marriage serves as the powerful catalyst for murder.

Throughout the season, Jeff begins to push back against the limits of the well-oiled machine that is "Mr. Pickles' Puppet Time," and of his executive producer, Seb.
Seb fears Jeff's mental state could ruin the branding empire they've built, and thus begins preparing the show for a life after Jeff, while Deirdre, the head puppet maker, grapples with her own personal and professional life issues.

In addition to working with 12 Hollywood misfits, Ruth also has to compete with Debbie Eagan, a former soap actress who left the business to have a baby, only to be sucked back into work when her picture perfect life is not what it seems.
And at the wheel is Sam Sylvia, a washed-up, B-movie director who now must lead this group of women on the journey to wrestling stardom.
Season 3 follows the ladies of GLOW as they take the Vegas strip by storm.
Now headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, the women quickly realise Sin City is much more grind than glitter.
Ever the team cheerleader, Ruth's passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her growingly complicated personal life.
Debbie is making headway as a producer, but continues to be consumed with guilt over the distance between her and her son.
As their residency wears on, the lines blur between performance and reality, and the cast find themselves struggling with their own identities both in and outside of the ring.
