A new true story novela begins on Eva today (Wednesday, 6 October) at 17h00, simply and aptly titled Zumba.
It follows the life of Zumba creator Alberto "Beto" Perez, his passionate relationship with dance and how Zumba came to be such a worldwide phenomenon.

Episode 1
As the long-awaited Zumba convention begins, Alberto looks back at his life and what brought him to this point. As a child, Alberto is bullied, but finds solace in dance.

Alberto makes some friends at school. Gloria is shocked to discover John's behaviour and makes a decision. Alberto begins to perform at parties and gets a manager.

Dancing takes over Alberto's life and he begins to ignore his studies. John returns for an ugly confrontation. Gloria ends up in hospital due to exhaustion.
