Durga Thakur (Sanjeeda Sheikh)
As we mentioned
in the teasers, it's the end of Game of Love on Star Life this month and the start of A Perfect Lie.
It premieres on Tuesday, 17 December at 22h00 and will air at the same times as Game of Love: Mondays to Fridays at 22h00 and 22h30.
It isn't new to our screens because it aired on Glow TV towards the end of 2016/2017.
Here's a look at what to expect if you haven't seen it yet:
At the centre of the series is Durga Thakur, whose Perfect Lie is loosely based on the American drama series Revenge...
...flashback to Emily van Kamp and Madeleine Stowe in Revenge.
A Perfect Lie's Durga also lives by the side-eye.
Durga's confident, rich and beautiful, BUT she isn't who she says she is.
Durga becomes involved the lives of the Goenka family and their youngest son, Shaurya, a spoilt brat who comes from a really rich family. He isn't used to taking "no" for an answer.
Shaurya makes a bet with his friends that he can win Durga over.
His parents, Sakshi and Rajnath Goenka, always stand by his side no matter what - but what they don't realise is that she's out for revenge against their family...
It turns out that Shaurya and his friends once raped Payal Mitra, when she was a patient in a psychiatric hospital.
Durga is actually Payal's sister Nitya, who wanted justice for her sister two years ago but was thwarted by Sakshi and Rajnath, who bribed all the witnesses so that Nitya lost the case.
Payal lost her mind, her parents committed suicide and Nitya became obsessed with making the Goenkas pay for what they did.
The Goenkas became aware of this and tried to kill her in an accident, which had major consequences because she lost her face. Dr Dayal Thakur found her and gave her the face of his dead daughter Durga.
Now Nitya is back as Durga Thakur and wants revenge on the Goenka family.
The series follows her exploits as she and Dayal start to destroy everyone who made her suffer.
