Shria invites Zola to a meeting, but is surprised when Zithulele pitches up as well. When Thokozile discovers Ngcolosi has also given Nkululeko a watch for a birthday present, she manipulates Nkululeko and believes she has him right where she wants him.

Shria now knows about Nokuzola and Zithulele and is furious. Getting caught in a charged moment with Thokozile, leaves Ngcolosi worried.
Nkululeko’s birthday dinner begins... will it be a disaster for MaZulu and Phakade? Thokozile connects with kaMadonsela. Nkululeko tells his mother to back off Ngcolosi.

Khanyo berates Phakade for how he's treated kaMadonsela. Shria is in a better mood after her meeting with Devan, as she now has a lawyer to handle her case in court.
Ngcolosi argues with MaZulu over Thokozile. MaNdlovu cautions Ngcolosi against siding too much with Thokozile, which arouses Ngcolosi’s suspicions.

MaZulu confesses to Phakade that she fears she is losing Ngcolosi. KaMadonsela tells Phakade that she doesn’t believe he loves her like he once did.
Ngcolosi refuses to help Futhi with Shria and and Futhi resigns from Maluju. darkness creeps into the Bhengu family as Thokozile finally gets a love potion from the inyanga.

Thokozile manipulates a way for her to have some private time with Ngcolosi, and she looks to spike his drink with the love potion. Nirupa sees Thokozile and Ngcolosi enjoying each other’s company, and calls MaZulu to tell her.
Zithulele and Nokuzola share a passionate kiss. Futhi is accepted to take part in a mentorship programme in America. Shria stops at nothing to bring down Shongololo oils.

Shrias master mind plans flourish and Futhi’s family hold a farewell dinner for her, but tensions still run high between kaMadonsela and Phakade.

MaZulu and Phakade fall asleep in each other’s arms - they might just be caught this time! Zithulele feels he's falling when his main witness pulls out.
Futhi leaves for the USA. It is a bitter-sweet moment for the family as they say their teary good-byes, and a sobering moment for Phakade as MaNdlovu reminds him that he should be grateful for the wonderful family he has.

Nkululeko is tortured by what he saw between MaZulu and Phakade. Ngcolosi tasks Nkululeko with working closely with Shria on the Shongololo oils lawsuit case, but Shria refuses.
MaNdlovu recruits Phunyuka in her fight against Thokozile. Phunyuka catches Thokozile doing her dirty deeds.

Does MaZulu know she and Phakade have been caught? Nkululeko finds out about the Shria and Devan meeting through Zethu. Shria vents her frustrations to Nirupa.
Phunyuka does MaNdlovu’s bidding and steals the inyanga potion and cream from Thokozile’s bedroom while Thokozile sleeps. MaNdlovu looks to perform a ritual to extricate Ngcolosi from Thokozile’s hold.

After his cleansing, Ngcolosi feels different. Nirupa advises MaZulu to meet with a life insurance broker.
When Nokuzola learns of Shria’s latest underhanded tactics, she resolves to help Zithulele with the case. Finally, Nirupa demands that Pranav stand up to Ngcolosi in defense of Shria.

MaZulu has an appointment with an insurance broker... will she hide this from Ngcolosi? Nkululeko reveals to Zethu that he has a secret.
Nokuzola tells Zithulele that he must take advantage of the crack between Shria and Nkululeko. Thokozile notices that Ngcolosi no longer seems to be feeling the same about her. Thokozile tells MaNdlovu she knows it was her who organised for someone to break into her house.

Nkululeko is feeling stressed about his secret. Shria feels Nkululeko has undermined her authority and is trying to sabotage the case.
MaZulu’s plans to take out an insurance policy on Ngcolosi are thwarted. She confides in Nirupa that she does not think she can get him to sign.

MaNdlovu offers MaZulu her help, but MaZulu denies there is a problem. Shria is furious that Pranav will not support her attempts to get Zithulele into court.
Ngcolosi commends Zithulele for his decision to sell his business, and Zithulele plays along. Thokozile tells Nkululeko that she knows the secret about MaZulu.

Zethu presses Nkululeko to do something about the secret he is keeping. MaZulu arrives unannounced to see Phakade. MaZulu fears what Nkululeko will do.
KaMadonsela warns Phakade that this is his last chance to keep the peace. Shria seeks advice from Jason about dropping the case. Will Shria drop the case? Khanyo has to return to the Ndamases, but she is not up for it.

Nkululeko warns MaZulu not to slip up again. Worried she’s still not safe, MaZulu proceeds to forge Ngcolosi’s signature on the life insurance policy.
Shria tells Ngcolosi and Pranav they’ve been played by Zithulele, and she demands the case be taken back to court. KaMadonsela tells Phakade she doesn’t want Khanyo to return to the Ndamases.

Jason’s presence is a threat to Nokuzola, she is anxious that she will lose her job. Zithulele looks through Maharaj’s blackmail file and finds a picture of Uwe Jansen. Ngcolo
si tells Nkululeko he can’t stand being lied to. MaZulu hands the document with Ngcolosi’s forged signature over to the insurance company, and she and Phakade decide to step back from each other. Nkululeko discovers that Thokozile has been arrested.

MaZulu panics when documented proof of the insurance policy she forged is sent to Maluju oils for Ngcolosi to review. Nokuzola works on tracking down Uwe Jansen to use as leverage for Zithulele against Shria and Maluju.
Feeling like he’s left with no choice, will Zithulele threaten his own father with Uwe Jansen? Nkululeko and Zethu learn that Thokozile is in financial trouble.

MaNdlovu sees through Phakade and maZulu, MaNdlovu questions MaZulu about this, and MaZulu makes kaMadonsela the scapegoat. Pranav informs Ngcolosi that he plans to tell his family about Uwe.
Ngcolosi realizes that Zithulele is more like him than he thought. Mira announces that she is taking a sabbatical to India. Thokozile proves to be an inconvenience to Zethu and Nkululeko. Ngcolosi puts her up in a hotel. Thokozile reads too much into Ngcolosi's help.

Episode 555
Thokozile insults MaNdlovu, saying that what goes on between her and Ngcolosi is none of MaNdlovu’s business. Mira tells Shria that she is going to an ashram in India.
Thokozile is enjoying living the high life at the hotel on Ngcolosi’s money, and stirs up mischief. Ngcolosi and Pranav try to bribe Jason to drop the case, but he rejects the offer and Nkululeko is worried that Zethu might have mentioned the kiss he saw between MaZulu and Phakade.
