In the series premiere, "Paula Fields & Melissa Halstead": In February 2001, kids fishing in a London canal reel in an old holdall and are horrified to discover it contains a macabre collection of dismembered body parts.

Police fish out further bags containing even more parts and launch a murder investigation, hoping they don't have a crazed serial killer on the loose.
