VIA reality show Ouma Weet Mos (Grandmother knows) has been renewed for Season 2 and the show's production house Wyrd Films is looking for participants for the season.

In case you aren't familiar with the series... three audacious and loving grandmothers help people solve their everyday problems by taking part in activities and tasks with them.

The oumas are June Fisher, Adri Strooh and Adri Vivier, who have over 200 years of life experience between them, which they use to problem-solve.

The show has a light hearted touch but it's also serious about solving people's difficulties.

Who is the show looking for?

People with everyday problems that they've had no success in solving themselves e.g. a bride or groom marrying into a different culture (causing unhappiness), or a hoarder who can’t let go of the past.

An overprotective mother smothering her children, an awkward 20-something struggling to find love or a new husband or wife struggling with a social media addiction.

The oumas are up for solving big and small issues.

Who can apply?

You can apply as an individual, couple or family.

You need to be able to speak Afrikaans, even if it's a second language.

You should preferably live in Cape Town and surrounds (within a 50km radius).

How to apply

You can send an email to oumaweetmos@wyrdfilms.com and tell them about yourself and the problem you need help with.

Here's a vid. to introduce you to the oumas if you haven't met them yet:
