Pearl and Makoro’s delight at pulling one over on Suffo and Khulekani is short-lived. Makoro proposes a deal. But Suffo and Khulekani are determined to take him out.
Ziyanda is surprisingly happy that things are going well with Gift. But, when she gets called away Town to Cape on business, Gift summons Mapula to the Metropol. Where he makes a very unattractive proposition.
Jafta ends things with Candy, much to Cuba’s delight. She thinks this is karma. The only person who manages to make Jafta feel better is Mampho.

Episode 3562
Puleng and Nandi join forces to support Suffocate and Khulekani’s cause. Pastor Makoro agrees to give Suffocate and Khulekani a better deal and Pearl is unimpressed until Pastor Makoro reveals he has a plan up his sleeve.
Pule recruits Fingers to help him break into Pastor Makoro’s office, however he soon realizes it’s a trap when he gets caught by Sonto. Mapula tries to tell Ziyanda the truth about Gift hitting on her, however Gift beats her to it and tells a distorted version of the truth, blackening Mapula’s name.
Blossom gets a call revealing her choir is in the semi-finals. She cooks a celebratory feast which burns to ashes. She blames everything on Kea.

Episode 3563
Pastor Makoro is again one step ahead of Khulekani and Suffocate. Their alliance is put to the test when they realise that Makoro is more of a formidable foe than they gave him credit for. It takes Puleng’s perspective to get them focusing on the bigger picture once again.
Ziyanda is under pressure to choose who to believe between Mapula and Gift. At the last minute, she makes a decision that will come with a lot of consequences. Meanwhile, Blossom continues to unwittingly make Kea’s life difficult.

Episode 3564
Suffocate and Khulekani go to the pastor’s church to try find a way to combat him, and Suffocate sees a chink in his armour. Sonto steals Pearl’s thunder when she gives the Pastor a dazzling gift that delights him.
Mapula tells Ziyanda the full history of her relationship with Gift. Gift is furious with the role she has played in his life, and threatens her with revenge. Blossom puts pressure on Kea to help her with the choir, but that in turn creates problems at the salon as Jamaica puts his foot down and fires her.

Pastor Makoro asks Pearl to make peace with Sonto. They strike a tentative truce. Later, Pearl overhears a troubling conversation between the pastor and Sonto. Suffocate explains to Khulekani the angle they are going to take.
Sindiswa tells Mapula exactly what she thinks of Gift after his unwanted advances. The board of 9-Nine inform Ziyanda that they are going to launch an official enquiry into her decision to turn down the account with Gift’s company.
Kop and Blossom tell Kea they are very upset with her for losing her job at the salon. Kea tells an aghast Blossom and Kop she wants to take a gap year.

Episode 3566
Cuba confirms Suffocate’s hunch and he makes a daring move by propositioning Sonto. Pearl tries to break things off with the pastor and Sonto is pleased at the news. However, after searching his soul, Makoro decides the time is right to propose marriage to Pearl.
The board’s investigation into Ziyanda’s professional conduct gets underway. Ziyanda and Mapula are put through the gauntlet. Mampho takes to the airways with the story. Lefa advises Kea to deal with the PA job by playing dead. However, she can’t keep it up when she learns she won’t be paid for her work.

Episode 3567
Sonto refuses Suffo’s offer and threatens to tell Makoro about it. Makoro implores Pearl to consider his proposal but she remains conflicted. She goes looking for answers at David’s grave. When Sonto can’t find the pastor, she happily assumes that Pearl must have ended things with him, as she said she would..
Ziyanda chastises Mampho for her show the day before but Mampho respectfully stands her ground, saying the story needed to be told. Ziyanda is relieved when she learns that she won’t be getting fired and Mapula rubs Gift’s demise in his face.
Kea gets a call from the choir competition organizer about a change in the pickup point for the bus. She tries to inform Blossom who is distracted with outfits for the competition. Blossom later thanks Kea for her services and Kea finally gets a chance to tell her about the call.

Sonto is in a quandary, wondering if she should tell Makoro how she really feels about him. She’s devastated when she discovers that Makoro asked Pearl to marry him. So devastated, she’s willing to switch sides.
The publicity from the Gift incident has generated positive publicity, and business, for Ziyanda and 9-Nine. So much so, Thandi Dlamini wants to interview her and Mapula. In the interview, Ziyanda calls Mapula family, leading someone watching to go into a rage.
The church ladies head off on their trip. They’re excited, until they’re stranded at the wrong bus stop all day. When they discover that a message went awry, Blossom throws Kea under the bus.

Episode 3569
Sonto meets with Suffocate and asks him to break up Pearl and Pastor Makoro’s relationship in exchange for her help sabotaging Makoro’s plans for the megachurch in DK. Sonto pretends to support Makoro’s relationship.
Zak shows up at 9-Nine to confront Ziyanda, but runs off after bumping into Mampho. Ziyanda is rattled when she finds out from Mampho that Zak has returned. Zak ignores Ziyanda’s calls, but reaches out to Zinhle.
Kop is shocked when Blossom confesses that she is responsible for the choir competition mix up and not Kea. Kop encourages her tell the truth. Blossom apologizes to the church ladies, but most importantly, to Kea.

Sonto is distracted by something, and Pastor Makoro thinks it might be that she’s still unhappy about his engagement to Pearl. But when she reveals her dream to him, he is alarmed. Puleng tries to caution Suffo against making Mzi work to break Pearl’s heart.
Zinhle agrees to meet up with Zak and invites her parents to the therapy meet ‘n greet. Ziyanda panics when she can’t get hold of Zak. Jafta collapses with a suspected heart problem, and is convinced that his days on Earth are numbered.

Episode 3571
Puleng challenges Suffo on his intentions with the boys in splitting up Pearl and Pastor Makoro. Sonto conspires with Suffocate and Khulekani to engineer an accident at the building site. Makoro believes the accident, together with Sonto’s dreams, is a sign from God urging him to pull out of the megachurch.
Zak is alone and miserable. He tries to rent a flat at Kilowatt, but Fats turns him down when he can’t afford the monthly fee. Zak tries to pick up where things left off between him and Zinhle. But Zinhle is hesitant, heeding her therapist’s warning not to let anything undo her progress.
Cuba is shaken when she learns of Jafta’s heart attack. Fortunately for Jafta, the doctor reveals he was only suffering from a case of indigestion. The two friends reconcile.

Pastor Makoro remains conflicted over the way forward with the megachurch despite Pearl’s urging him that the accident at the building site has nothing to do with Sonto’s ominous dreams. Mzi is upset when Suffo finally tells the boys that Sonto wants them to split up Pearl and Makoro.
Ziyanda panics over Zak’s return to the city and tries to protect him by getting Khulekani to reconsider his ultimatum regarding the boy. She only manages to unwittingly alert Khulekani to the fact that Zak might be back. Zak hits his lowest when Zinhle turns her back on him and he finds himself sleeping rough outside.
Jafta’s trip to the hospital leaves him convinced that his legacy would be more impressive if he had a male heir to carry on his name.

Sonto encourages Pastor Makoro to find the solution to his doubts in his heart. Meanwhile, she applies pressure to Pearl to begin the process of converting to Makoro’s faith. She ramps up her plans to demolish his dream for the megachurch. Suffocate is troubled by Mzi’s reluctance to help him break the couple apart.
When Fats discovers Zak sleeping under the backstairs, he offers him a flat at Kilowatt for a few days. Zak is moved by the kind gesture and decides he’s going to tell Zinhle the truth about his situation.
Mkhushulwa takes it upon himself to have a group of available, unmarried women from his village in KZN sent to Joburg. Jafta is outraged to learn that his brother wants him to choose from them a woman who will bear him his heir.

Pastor Makoro finds his office desecrated and interprets this as a sign from God to abandon his plans to build a megachurch district in DK. Pearl insists he should pursue his dream and go ahead with the business while Sonto works to fulfil her end of the secret deal with Suffocate.
Ziyanda is ready to hear all about Zinhle’s boy troubles but Zinhle doesn’t spill the beans since Zak is becoming more open. She learns of his story of abandonment by his biological mother and advises Zak to find closure by making her pay.
Jafta wants no part in Mkhushulwa’s insane scheme to have him choose a woman from their village to bear his male heir. But, after seeing what options he has in Jozi, he starts to think that maybe the plan isn’t so crazy after all...

Mzi confides in Puleng about how much he still cares about Pearl. Sonto pushes Suffocate and his sons to set their plan in motion. Mzi warns Pearl about Suffocate’s plan.
Zak calls Mampho offering a story that exposes Ziyanda as a bad person. Ziyanda orders Mampho to leave Zak and the story alone. Jafta goes on a date with all six women and selects his top five in a ‘pot ceremony’.

Mzi confesses to Pearl that his family is trying to sabotage Pastor Makoro and their relationship. When Pearl informs Makoro of the Ndlovu plot, Sonto take the opportunity to plant a seed of doubt in the pastor’s mind about why Mzi is betraying his family to help Pearl - he must still have feelings for her.
Mampho is livid at Mapula for ratting her out to Ziyanda about the interview with Zak. Zinhle pledges her support to Zak and Ziyanda intercepts Mampho’s interview and asserts her stance for Zak to stay away from her.
Mampho accosts Jafta for running a competition where women must fight each other to be chosen as the mother of his heir.

Puleng is concerned about Mzi’s emotional trajectory and Suffo feels bad for asking him to do what he’s about to do. As Pule’s hacker struggles to break into Makoro’s computer, Pearl thanks Mzi for helping her. The old lovers draw closer over his revelation to her.
Ziyanda is very distracted, thinking about Zak, and Zak’s distress leads to a passionate kiss with his sister, Zinhle. Mampho tells the Khuses about Jafta’s scheme, and Blossom and Cuba confront him and Mkhushulwa. They succeed in forcing a re-think.

Suffocate and Pule’s plan goes into action, but it weighs heavily on Mzi. When Pule realises that Makoro has evaded their trap, he blames Mzi and lashes out at him in front of Makoro and Sonto, revealing that not only had Pearl been with Mzi in the past, but also with Pule. Makoro is shocked by the revelation.
Zak is high on his reignited romance with Zinhle. He decides to focus on her and building a new life in Joburg. But not before he makes Ziyanda cough up for all his troubles.
Jafta is affected by Cuba and Blossom accusing him of exploiting the village women. So he comes up with a solution that serves his plot while placating the women - Cuba will be the new judge of his future wife.

Things are tense between Pearl and Makoro. Pearl thanks Mzi and the two draw closer. Makoro finally admits that he knows about Pearl’s history with Pule, and he feels betrayed that she kept it from him. The Ndlovus reveal it was all part of the plan to bring Mzi and Pearl closer together.
Ziyanda gives Zak the cash to leave town, but he has no intention of going anywhere. Not while Zinhle is there. The two of them sneak into Zak’s flat, and things get hot and heavy. Until Zinhle stops it, admitting she’s a virgin.
Despite protests from Blossom, Cuba takes over the task of choosing Jafta’s bride. She puts the women through a test, and one is eliminated.

Episode 3580
Mzi feels increasingly uncomfortable about manipulating Pearl and Puleng sees that his feelings for her still run deep. Pearl decides to come clean with Makoro about everything and it does not go well. Sonto uses the opportunity to stoke his doubts about Pearl.
Zak pays Fats for rent and enjoys spending his newly acquired cash. He gives Zinhle a beautiful necklace. Zinhle says she can’t tell her parents about them yet, but can’t help confiding in Ziyanda that she has been seeing Zak.
Sibongile makes it clear that she wants the job of Jafta’s wife, whether she genuinely likes him or not. The women continue to fight it out for him.

Sonto instructs Suffocate to think of something big to ensure that Pearl and Makoro break up forever. Suffo then tasks Mzi to worsen the rift between them and Pearl pours her heart out to Mzi.
Ziyanda tries to dissuade Zinhle from dating Zak to no avail. She then tries to force Zak to leave town again but that also proves to be futile. Ziyanda later tasks Mapula to bring her Slaza ingredients and we start to worry for Zinhle.
Sibongile manipulates Jafta into telling her the answer to the next challenge. It then turns out that Jafta gave her the wrong answer and she is eliminated. Jafta later pleads Sibongile’s case to Mkhushulwa who puts his foot down.
