The advocate has spoken... pay up!
This is what we'll be hearing on kykNET & Kie this October with the premiere of a new Judge Judy-type reality show Die Hof (The Court).
The format: real life advocate Suzie Gordon presides over small claims cases and provides a legally binding decision by the end of her deliberations.
There are no lawyers involved. The cases are argued by the people who are involved, which could be You if you have a small claims problem you need to resolve
If you have an issue involving a claim of R20,000 or less you can apply to the show to have your case heard.
Perhaps your neighbour damaged your wall while chopping down their tree and they're refusing to fix it, or you gave someone a loan who now claims you gave it to them as a gift.
Any dispute under R20,000 can be heard.
