Survivor SA: Immunity Island Recap - Episode 14

And the first cast member of Survivor SA: All Stars is... Kiran!

It should happen in Season 10 don't you think? An All Stars season with players we want to see again because of how kickbutt they were the first time.

It would offer Kiran a second chance to defeat chance. It was the only thing that stopped him from winning the season because he did everything right and would have won if he'd reached the end.

But chance and fate gave him Chappies, an unstoppable challenge beast, and now Kiran's on the jury, ready to make a decision on how he feels about it. Ready to influence the jury members apparently.

Both Kiran and Tyson were generous with their praise for Chappies when they saw they were history after the immunity challenge. It couldn't have been easy and yet they did it with sincerity I thought.

Even Tyson let go of his anger to gush and then man weep while clinging to Kiran. It was endearing and brought us closer to him than we've been the entire season. I also felt for him with his leg because it's the last thing you need when you're fighting for the end.

Which he might still reach.

Who's next

I initially assumed that Anela and Nicole would definitely vote for Tyson next but I've just realised that they could be better served to vote out Chappies if, by some chance, he doesn't win immunity next week.

The two of them are a power couple now, the new Rob and Amber so to speak, ha! I honestly don't see them betraying each other, despite Nicole's iffyness at The Dude's flip flop of last week.

I didn't think about that last week because I knew the ins and outs of why things happened as they did, but I didn't consider the fact that Nicole didn't know.

Ultimately it all happened because Kiran wanted to vote her out and yet we never saw Anela telling her that she was under threat.

And no-one told her that the show treated her extremely unfairly this week, when she should have been told.

That immunity challenge jump for the puzzle keys was unbelievably unjust because there's no ways she could have reached it not matter what she did.

I was livid because it was totally geared towards bigger, tall men and resulted in Nicole feeling she was inadequate.

It's not right to have challenges that discriminate against a person's size like that - imagine how unfair it would have been if she was fighting for her life like Chappies was. NO!

Chappies' diner

Happy Chappies' nightly antics continue to entertain and amuse, especially because he isn't taking any food from anyone anymore.

I actually think that his previous stealing of the rice is the only thing that might come back to bite him when it comes to the jury grilling... you know how jury members love to take the moral high ground on things, especially those who are still bitter.

It could be a weakness in his armour so Kiran essentially did him a good turn by taking control of the rice like he did.

Chappies' "transformational" lunch with The Dude was hysterical from start to finish. I guffawed at his claims that he just wanted Anela to enjoy the feast as if his invite wasn't strategic - I didn't believe it for a moment.

His groaning at each bite, Anela's suggestion to tell everyone they shared the platter and their cuddle back to camp... classic.
