Talk about doing the absolute mininum effort for a primetime show. What a laze-fest!
Sunday's Big Brother eviction show was literally one repeat after another with nothing new or fresh besides Acacia's actual interview when she was evicted.
The 30-year-old model was the only one to get the chop and yet her interview only lasted a few minutes while the rest of the show was sticky-taped together using footage from the week and last week's eviction show.
The first five minutes were spent rehashing footage of Dinkybliss and Mvelo's eviction last week - everyone's seen it, it was old.
Why didn't they show us what happened with them
after Sunday's show? Where was the coverage of their real world interviews and first week of life after lockdown?
It's clear the show isn't going to give viewers anything more than repeats footage from the house despite how much more entertaining it would be if they actually created a proper Sunday night show.
They should have made it a Valentine's Day special with fun inserts e.g. an interview with an astrologer who could have looked at their star signs and paired them up according to compatibility.
They could have explored the concept of love and attachment and spoken to a psychologist about why people develop the feels in enclosed spaces.
They could have spoken to previous contestants like Mandla and Lexi to get their perspective on relationships in - and outside - of the house.
What about that fan-type party that was supposedly happening? Lawrence mentioned it but there was no crossover to it, we didn't see a single face from it.
Surely, surely, surely they have enough money to have a camera - or even a phone camera - at the party considering how much advertising the show has?!
Seems some people are getting paid to do as little possible. Mm.
