Wow!!
We are going in another Lehasa vs Kwezi war???
I thought by now, Sisanda and Kwezi would be an item and we would be focusing on how Sisanda could have also been after Kwezi's money but then they would actually love each other.

And Mapitsi? Her character is so confused honestly. What does she really want? A career in journalism or just being a makoti??

Being a new Makoti is tedious I hope Lizzy makes it As for Lehasa and Khwezi they need a new storyline they can't be doing the same fighting year in year out argh Mapitsi, sigh, I have nothing to say about you

I am scared for Skeem Saam with this move to 19h30.  Nikiwe and SbongilexDlaminis were small fry compared to Scandal.

#1999 mina the writers have drained up all of my energy. They literally can't write for their actors to actually grow or learn from their lessons. If they want Mapitsi to be Meikie 2.0 they should stick to that. Before she got married her career was literally going somewhere. Now she needs reassurance from Tbose on every little thing. Zero growth on her own. How is her publishing business going? I really am praying they change her wardrobe and hairstylist. How is Paxton still the same snob we met 2 years ago after all he's been through? I thought his parents going through that public humiliation would humble him but alas, everyone was even supporting him but he still treats everyone like trash with zero consequences. Where is the growth in that? If they are promoting therapy on the show as a way to help people deal with their circumstances why hasn't he changed his behavior? Same with Mantuli, zero growth. She was doing fine after a few sessions and was supportive to her kids and treated them fairly. But we are back to square one with the toxicity. Treats her kids on how much they put on the table. No wonder Sthoko removed herself from that equation. Jacobeth is exactly the same. She was demoted from her Principal post to teacher cox she was bullying her colleagues. Got humbled by Kganyago but still looks down on everyone she deems beneath her that's why she's been toxic towards Kwaito. She's been even horrible to her own daughter. Where are the lessons here Can? Can we also get Lizzy a new wardrobe that reflects that she's a young doctor who's only responsibility is her mom's debts? She's had that hairstyle for over 2 months now. Alfred yena they redeemed him after the tender fraud and almost killing Alfios. He's a good Principal and tries to be a good father to his kids. My only gripe with him is that he doesn't listen to Mahlatse, always asks him questions but never wants to hear the answers or believe him. I think him raising the kids alone is taking a toll on him. As for the parents on this show ay, they are all the same. John and Obed never want to take responsibility for their actions and shift the blame to others. Kwaito has been struggling from the very first episode I don't know why they are not giving him a break, from his friends circle he was the clever poor kid who we all thought would make it through with all the adversities thrown at him. But nope, he's a qualified engineer who has had his work stolen multiple times, can't find work and still they making him get married yet zero planning with his wife on their finances. Can they give him a break? Successful stories are not boring hey. As for Pretty why are they turning her into a brat? She was doing fine (beside the relationship) in Jozi and was very supportive of Kwaito and Lizzy getting back together. Where is this bratty behavior coming from? Tjo I hope her lawyer days won't be like this and she keeps her mouth shut. They doing Eunice dirty, they need to get her back in her Physiotherapy uniform coz this girl falling for peer pressure isn't the Executive. Can they also change her wardrobe, please!!!! As for the Jozi crew, I am tired. I feel like they are forced to write storylines for Kwezi and Lehasa coz they have contracts and are part of the main cast. Coz there ain't no way they've been doing the same thing for over a year with no conclusion to it. What was the point of that contract signing and threatening each other with divorce/separation if she was still gonna leave? She knew the man she got with when she forced the marriage but suddenly she was scared he's gonna kill her yet he's never touched a strand on her head? That time she herself almost succeeded in killing him with the stabbing. Lehasa is a weak villain, they need to change how they write for him. As for Sisanda, what a mess. What is his motive for anything? Arrived in June yet we still don't know what's his role in all of this. Francois can't act but I like his little friendship with Lehasa, although he seems like he sucks up to him a lot. What was the point of Koloi moving to Jozi? He's had no real storyline since the first time moving there. That alteast had substance. He's become a gossiper now. Tjo sorry for the long essay. Needed to vent

RONDA

We appreciate the venting my love. You have just said everything to the core. Skeem Saam had it well back in the days but it is going downhill right now.

Personally I was stunned when they promoted Kwezi to regular this season because I knew that would end up in repeat cycle. I mean if Kwezi can not be Lehasa's trophy wife, she will always be at loggerheads with him. Honestly, Kwezi to me was a replacement of Lelo Mthiyane, which went pretty well after her inception but then got really boring. The best and last straw of Kwehasa was when Kwezi tried to kill him. Anything that came after was a a mess. How on earth would they marry them after that altercation.
Honestly, we need a new villain with new storylines because I feel like Lehasa can not have anything new besides fighting Kwezi.
Villains need consistency and Skeem Saam is failing at that.

Kanti where did they put Marothi. He was an entertaining villain who had so many stories to be told. I mean they had introduced his daughter and we were to see how that tablet corruption would go. Maybe have his daughter becoming the angel in Turflop with a dark side.

As much as Lehasa is an amzing actor, his setting in Joburg is costing because they are a few characters to influence.

I have noticed were Skeem Saam is slacking. It does not accept that a certain character has reached its expiry date. They managed to do it with Noah and Mokgadi but yhooo the rest is a mess.

I too wonder why Koloi went to Joburg. He is just a yawn. What happened to Ruth? Koloi has to go.
Francois? Besides the fact that he is an eyecandy, his character neeeds a revamp. His greatest storyline this year was sulking for Annabele which was a bore. Can they make him butt heads with Lehasa over Levels or something. Make hi grow up and roooooar!!!

I feel like Joburg needs to be scratched completely and we invest in Turflop.

There is no reason to keep a thousand actors on the show if you can not write good stories for them. Really.

No wonder why Scandal cut down the number of its main characters to 7. It is an ideal thing to do
