Another TV actor slums it on TV this week, joining the ranks of Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Martin and the other big screeners who've wisened up and realised that TV keeps you relevant.
This time it's Jake Glynel... Gyllenhaal - the one with the tongue twister name. And hopefully a forehead that moves! Nicole Kidman's expressions are way too limited now.
But we digress... this is about Jake and his new series Presumed Innocent. It premieres on AppleTV+ this Wednesday (12 June) and he stars and executively produces, alongside a crowd that includes David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Big Little Lies) and J.J. Abrams (Lost, Fringe).
It's a miniseries and it's based on the book by Scott Turow, which was made into a movie too - in 1990, with Harrison Ford playing Jake's role in the show.
Series synopsis
