Monday 2 September 2024
Episode 16 


Dr Ximba is questioned by the police about her knowledge of her husband’s affair with Susan, but she denies knowing about it, making her a challenging suspect.

Avhatakali admits to the affair but denies shooting Susan, raising questions about whether his wife might be involved.

Muvhango’s assignment business flourishes as Elelwani brings in a friend as a customer, but he announces this will be his last job in the business.

Susan emerges from her coma, but her first word, “Lebo,” goes unheard by those around her. 

Tuesday 3 September 2024
Episode 17  


Dr Ximba and Avhatakali return home to a turbulent environment, with their son, Sakhile, expressing deep hatred for his father.

Ndiwavho tries to calm a panicking Vhutshilo, who is distressed by the leaked videos of his mother.

Ndemedzo fears Teboho might be developing genuine feelings, but Teboho insists that she cannot win James over as long as she remains a guest in his home.

Dr Ximba provides Avhatakali with a press statement to memorize, denying the affair and claiming the video does not feature him.

Susan is devastated upon seeing this public declaration of Avhatakali’s undying love for his wife. 

Wednesday 4 September 2024
Episode 18 
 

Dr Ximba reassures her concerned son that their domestic issues will not overshadow his graduation celebration.

Susan, struggling with a speech impediment, manages to say “Lebo’s” name, which alarms Shaz.

Shaz informs the police that Lebo was the shooter, while Muvhango helps Elelwani by providing a doctor’s note to extend her assignment deadline.

James decides to move Teboho’s belongings into his bedroom, signalling that he no longer wants her to be just a guest in his life. 

Thursday 5 September 2024 
Episode 19 


Avhatakali is taken aback when Dr. Ximba packs his bags and orders him to move to the guest bedroom.

Ndemedzo tries to learn more about Imani, and Bubbles eagerly shares all the details.

Ndiwavho catches Muvhango in fraudulent academic activities, warning him of possible expulsion.

James is shocked when Teboho introduces Ndemedzo and reveals their plan to neutralise the Vhakwevho’s power. 

Friday 6 September 2024 
Episode 20
 

Imani arrives with a new hairstyle to catch Ndemedzo’s eye and invites him to Sakhile’s graduation party as her plus one, while flirting with him.

Avhatakali plans a special surprise for Dr Ximba at the graduation party with Bubbles’ help.

Mulalo expresses concern that Teboho might be manipulating James, but Lindelani teases him about his jealousy.

Sakhile is thrilled to walk into his graduation party, which exceeds his expectations.

The graduation party takes a dramatic turn when police arrest someone for the attempted murder of Susan. 
 

Monday 9 September 2024 
Episode 21 


Dr Ximba wakes up in a holding cell, demanding to make a call.

Meanwhile, the Vhakwevho family is overwhelmed by media harassment, while Teboho rejoices at Dr Ximba’s arrest, believing her plan is succeeding.

Imani corners Ndemedzo, leading to an awkward encounter that leaves him uncomfortable and Teboho cuts a deal with Matshidiso, offering damaging info on the Mukwevhos in exchange for her freedom. 

Tuesday 10 September 2024 
Episode 22 


Imani brags to Gugu about her young lover, and Bubbles realizes she’s talking about Ndemedzo.

Elelwani faces a university conduct inquiry for a plagiarized assignment, causing tension with Muvhango.

Imani gifts Ndemedzo a superbike, but he returns it, feeling it’s inappropriate.

As Azwindini checks on Susan, he also confronts Dr Ximba about Susan’s shooting, which she denies.

Lindelani is left disappointed when Azwindini cancels on her birthday, but Mulalo lifts her spirits with a surprise celebration.

Wednesday 11 September 2024 
Episode 23 


Lindelani thanks Mulalo for the birthday surprise, while Vhutshilo diffuses a tense situation involving Muvhango by offering a refund.

Teboho pressures Ndemedzo to reconsider the promotion, and when he asks Imani for it back, she suggests he can if he “changes her mind.”

Azwindini surprises Lindelani with a romantic dinner, which is interrupted when he’s called away. 

Thursday 12 September 2024 
Episode 24 


Sakhile and Ndiwavho’s instant connection turns into a fistfight between Sakhile and Vhutshilo. Muvhango and Elelwani make amends, vowing to restart their friendship.

Ndemedzo files sexual harassment charges against Imani but is ridiculed by the police, and he later quits his job, shocking Imani and the staff. 

Friday 13 September 2024 
Episode 25 


Avhatakali tries to impress Dr Ximba by making the murder case docket disappear, but she remains unimpressed.

Mulalo vents to Lindelani about Matshidiso ruining his date. Imani, distressed over Ndemedzo, is comforted by Bubbles.

Ndiwavho, dreaming about Sakhile, is brought back to reality by Elelwani. Matshidiso demands the Intimate Lounge from Teboho in exchange for Mukwevho information.

Ndiwavho calls Sakhile but regrets it, and a threatening package arrives at Dr Ximba’s office.
 

Monday 16 September 2024
Episode 26 


Dr Ximba suspects Susan of being behind the threat from the construction mafia, but Azwindini disagrees. Lindelani preps Mulalo for his date, though he’s more concerned about the construction mafia.

Teboho challenges Ndemedzo about his resignation, and Matshidiso receives the keys to Intimate Lounge.

Mulalo’s date takes a turn when his date’s husband shows up. 

Tuesday 17 September 2024 
Episode 27 


Hayani Holdings hires private security for HH land, while Azwindini asks Lindelani to prepare a fancy dinner for clients, with Mulalo’s help.

The old lady tenant discards Ndiwavho’s belongings and introduces strange outfits for everyone. Teboho advises James to tarnish the Vhakwevhos' image with the workers, and Dr. Ximba is disappointed in Azwindini’s handling of the construction mafia issue.

Teboho and Ndemedzo discover another enemy targeting the Mukwevhos. Sakhile’s attempt to pay off the construction mafia fails.

Wednesday 18 September 2024 
Episode 28 


Dr Ximba receives a chilling video call from the construction mafias, who have kidnapped Sakhile.

Ndiwavho leaves a worried voice note for Sakhile, fearing her previous messages scared him off.

Mulalo is disturbed by an inappropriate dream about Lindelani, making him act distant. Vhutshilo’s romantic scavenger hunt fails to impress Ndiwavho.

Ndiwavho confesses her crush to Elelwani, who advises her to focus on Vhutshilo. 

Thursday 19 September 2024 
Episode 29 


Sotobe rescues Sakhile without bloodshed, leaving Avhatakali feeling helpless. Vhangani catches Mulalo and Lindelani right after their kiss, while Ndiwavho is frustrated by Sakhile’s private social media accounts.

Dr Ximba is celebrated as a hero at Hayani Holdings. Matshidiso asks Teboho for a loan due to a supplier issue, but Teboho refuses.

Mulalo faces Azwindini’s criticism over negotiation handling, and Teboho plans to deepen the rift between Dr Ximba and Avhatakali by revealing a secret. 

Friday 20 September 2024 
Episode 30 


Mulalo announces he is moving out, but Azwindini refuses. Dr Ximba angrily throws Avhatakali out and tells him he’s no longer welcome at her workplace, and he is even more devastated when she returns her wedding ring.

Azwindini insists Lindelani accompany Mulalo to a charity event. Ndiwavho is thrilled when Sakhile asks her out.
 

Monday 23 September 2024 
Episode 31 


Azwindini teases Mulalo about a makeupstained pillow, unaware it involves Lindelani. Meanwhile, Nndwakhulu demands his inheritance, leading to a tense confrontation with Azwinndini.

Matshidiso, after firing staff, tries bartending but faces online ridicule.

Ndiwavho, exhausted from school, is distant with Vhutshilo but later enjoys a date with Sakhile.

Mulalo and Lindelani discuss their secret affair, while Azwinndini receives legal papers from Nndwakhulu.

Tuesday 24 September 2024 
Episode 32 


Azwindini realizes Nndwakhulu has subpoenaed him to disclose his will. Mulalo and Lindelani share an intimate moment but pull away when they hear Rendani.

Ndiwavho and Sakhile enjoy reminiscing about their date. At the meeting, the family decides to handle Nndwakhulu themselves.

Muvhango’s anger leads to a confrontation with Nndwakhulu, which Azwindini intervenes in. Mulalo and Lindelani find comfort in each other, while Ndiwavho prepares a dish for Sakhile as an apology. 

Wednesday 25 September 2024 
Episode 33 


Azwindini’s other sons physically throw Nndwakhulu out of the house, prompting Rendani to warn Azwindini to change his strategy to avoid worsening the situation.

Sakhile returns Ndiwavho’ s Skaftin, and they share a hug. Azwindini and Nndwakhulu meet with their lawyers to avoid court, but their egos push them to proceed with the case.

Ndiwavho wakes up frightened from a dream about Vhutshilo catching her with Sakhile. Sakhile surprises Ndiwavho with a flower, while Matshidiso steals Imani’s design due to financial constraints.

Thursday 26 September 2024 
Episode 34


Addressing the family, Azwindini expresses his distrust, causing tension, though Lindelani and Mulalo feel relieved when attention shifts to Rendani.

Ndiwavho and Sakhile enjoy a romantic day, deepening their attraction. Teboho overhears Azwindini discussing Nndwakhulu’ s threats with Rendani. Azwindini is then attacked by an unknown assailant.

Lindelani and Mulalo’s emotional turmoil leads to a kiss, witnessed by Matshidiso, who blackmails them for money to keep their affair secret. 

Friday 27 September 2024 
Episode 35 


Lindelani advises Azwindini to cut off Nndwakhulu, but he refuses, insisting on helping his son. Lindelani is also anxious about Matshidiso’s demand for money, but Mulalo assures her he will handle it.

Elelwani is upset when her food goes missing and accuses Muvhango, who reveals his groceries have disappeared too.
 

Monday 30 September 2024 
Episode 36 


Ndiwavho, wearing the beads Sakhile gave her, assures him she will take care of them.

Meanwhile, Elelwani tries to persuade Shaz about a ghostly encounter, while Vhutshilo worries about his own place in his father’s will.

Nndwakhulu speaks with his aunt about the paternity test, determined to uphold his mother’s dignity.

Ndiwavho gifts Sakhile something meaningful to his clan, and they playfully discuss returning the beads. Dr. Ximba fires her PA for incompetence.

Azwindini and Nndwakhulu undergo the paternity test. Shaz’s trap for the food thief fails, while Elelwani begins to see the significance of the ucu beads and warms up to Sakhile.
 

Premiere episodes of Muvhango air on SABC2 from Mondays to Fridays at 21h00.
