Miss World South Africa

The 2024 Miss World South Africa pageant featuring 10 hopefuls will take place live at Sun City, Pilanesburg, North-West Province.

The winner will represent South Africa at the Miss World finals in February 2025.

Metro FM on-air personality Tebogo "ProVerb" Thekisho will host this year's Miss World SA with the reigning Miss World South Africa, with Dr Claude Mashego as the Backstage Commentator.

The Miss World SA 2024 pageant will pay a special tribute and celebrate the current Miss World Botswana, Lesego Chombo, who was crowned the 71st Miss World Africa this year.

Entertaining the audience will be performances by The Mahotella Queens, former Boom Shaka co-founder Theo Nhlengethwa, singer, songwriter and performer Mthandazo Gatya, television and radio personality Sechaba Gqeba, professional voice actor Weza Matomane and Aubrey Ngcungama, co-founder of a platform connecting black African wine enthusiasts.

The judges this year are Rea Malatji, Ntsoaki Ledimo and Dr Norman Cahi from South Africa, joined by Malaak Compton-Rock and Ava Lizette Hall from the United States of America, The Miss World 2023 Krystyna Pyszková, Michael Petr and Taibo Bacar from Mozambique.

The top 10 finalists are Amber Marais (22), Jesmika Singh (25), Lynique Odendaal (22), Nande Mabala (26), Neo Nkhumane (22), Romanda Hombi (25), Thembelihle Mnguni (25), Tshiamo Setlhare (26), Ximiyeto Makhubele (21), and Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg (18).

They talk about rugby, cars, fishing, hunting, travel and investments – everything that's dear to a man's heart.

And of course Frank must have a wing woman.

While Frank chats to guests in his man cave, TV and radio presenter Carla Mackenzie will be chatting to different role players in the sports world from the sidelines of the rugby field.

Doctors and experts in their fields, bariatric surgeons Dr. Khan, Dr. Hodges and Dr. Rao - along with plastic surgeons Dr. Kundu and Dr. Caplin - take on these botched bariatric patients and see if they can undo the mistakes made during their previous surgeries.

In the series premiere, "Cut the Crap": Latoya wants to spend time with her kids again and that means the 10-lb mass between her legs needs to go.

However, Drs. Khan and Kundu soon realise that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Then, tired of dealing with explosive bowels, Sean turns to Dr. Hodges for help.

In Die Groot Niks (The Great Nothing), actor and musician Neil Sandilands takes a closer look at this remarkable place.

Neil is know for his roles in local productions such as Konings, Orion, 7de Laan, Feast of the Uninvited and international productions like Sweet Tooth, News of the World and The Flash.

Behind the scenes of the series are Hannes Visser and Waldo van der Waal, known for the motoring show La't Wiel.

Veteran TV presenter and journalist Ruda Landman does the voice overs for the series.

In Die Groot Niks, a closer look is taken at the Namib's amazing natural beauty as well as  tales of the constant struggle between man and nature.

In the second season, the team travels from Swakopmund all the way to the Kunene River, which forms the border between Namibia and Angola.

It's much more than just an ordinary travel show or documentary.

Neil not only takes you on a physical journey but also on a spiritual one, offering profound insights that change the way you see life and nature, while Ruda Landman shares fascinating facts.

Hot on the heels of hit show The Masked Singer comes The Masked Dancer.

This feel-good family show will see celebrity contestants perform unique dances, whilst covered from head to toe in extravagant, colourful costumes and masks, leaving the viewers and star panel to guess their identities.

Bringing a wealth of dance expertise to the panel, Oti Mabuse will be taking up a seat alongside Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall as they all watch closely to see who knows their sashays from their pliés.

Hosting this most unusual of dance parties will be Joel Dommett.

The show will feature 12 celebrities stepping onto the dancefloor to take on character alter egos as they trip the light fantastic in a bid to wow the panel and confuse with their moves.

Clue packages will accompany every Masked Dancer to help the panel and at home detectives crack the case of who the famous faces behind the masks are.

In the series premiere: The first six masked dancers take to the stage – Zip vs Knickerbocker Glory, Beetroot vs Llama and Viper vs Scarecrow.

At the end of the show the first celebrity's identity is revealed.

Expect cryptic clues, epic routines and amazing reveals every night as we ask: "Who is Behind the Mask?"
