Killing It

Killing It is a comedy about class, capitalism and one man's quest to achieve the American dream.

And also about hunting really big snakes.

In this rags-to-riches sitcom about class and capitalism, Craig Foster is a bank security guard living in Miami and struggling to make ends meet.

He and his ex-wife, Camille, uneasily co-parent their pre-teen daughter, Vanessa.

Craig has grand plans to become an entrepreneur, but no way of getting his ideas off the ground.

But a chance encounter with Jillian, a down-on-her-luck driver for a ride-hailing service, introduces him to the wild world of state-sponsored python hunting, he decides to go all in to make his American dream come true.

In the series premiere, "Pilot": A divorced, down-on-his-luck single father named Craig tries to apply for a loan to start a new business, but an encounter with an Australian Uber driver changes his life forever.

In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "Kickoff": The South Florida Python Challenge begins; with $20,000 on the line, Craig decides to compete alone while Jillian scrambles to find a new partner.

In each episode, Lorna demonstrates the art of turning South African pantry staples into delectable, budget-friendly meals, which is useful in these economically-challenging times.

From reimagining traditional South African dishes to infusing global inspirations, Lorna's recipes and seasoned cooking tips aim to empower you to navigate the kitchen with savvy resourcefulness.

Through her presentations, Lorna not only elevates everyday meals but also guides you in creating flavourful masterpieces that don't break the bank yet provide a feeling of total satisfaction.

We all know how financially challenging the start of the year can be, but that does not mean we must compromise on feeding our families delicious, wholesome meals.

Lorna's Pantry is here to inspire and guide you through that journey.

In the series premiere, "Comfort Food Classics": Lorna takes you on a journey of transforming humble pantry staples into soul-soothing, heartwarming dishes.

She breathes new life into traditional favourites like fermented sorghum and tshotlho, pap and mopane worms, and the iconic bunny chow, adding her signature flair to these timeless comfort foods.

But Lorna's love for food extends beyond the kitchen.

Inspired to live more sustainably, she begins her vegetable garden, starting with essential herbs she frequently uses in her recipes.

Genre: Lifestyle, Advertiser-Funded, Afrikaans

Mooi Praatjies

What is more beautiful than women sharing beauty secrets, giving advice and keeping no tricks to themselves?

VIA creates this safe space in a programme with businesswoman and former beauty queen Cindy Nell-Roberts and her friend Denise Zimba, the actress and presenter.

Mooi Praatjies aims to tackle all taboos and put your most beautiful self within reach.

Cindy Nell-Roberts is a former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe runner-up and has been in the beauty and television industry for almost 20 years.

She is the former CEO of one of South Africa's largest cosmetic companies and founder of GoodCleanBeautyCo, a company that exports essence and Catrice to Australia.

As businesswoman she brings knowledge, experience and passion for the beauty industry to the show – as well as one of her friends.

By her side is actress and presenter Denise Zimba, best known to viewers of Generations: The Legacy, but it was on the wedding series Wedding Bashers that Denise and Cindy met.

As co-presenters, there's pretty much nothing Cindy and Denise won't talk about.

It's Cindy's first time trying out most of the aesthetic treatments, which allows for a lot of candid reactions, questions and 'real talk'.

Denise and Cindy also share their own beauty routines and treatments, allowing you to relate to both of their beauty journeys.

The programme is divided into segments featuring experts and celebrities.

The beauty world is complex, with more treatments and supplements than one can possibly make sense of.

Mooi Praatjies makes it easy with dos and don'ts for your beauty goals.

It cuts through the fleeting gimmicks and provides comprehensive advice on the habits and practices that Hollywood stars attribute their timeless beauty to.

Cosmetic dentist Zak Schabort and his panel discuss the latest beauty solutions and answer questions that frequently come up in their offices – as well as the questions that are never asked out loud.

Dr Zak and experts tackle everything from non-invasive aesthetic procedures like Botox, collagen and fillers to plastic surgery, vitamin infusions and intimate health.

Cindy and Denise put the celebrities' pores under the magnifying glass and ask: How do you get your picture-perfect look?

Guests include Natasha Joubert, Tamaryn Green, Marciel Hopkins, Paul Rothmann and many others revealing their secrets.

A Real Bug's Life 2

Channel: Disney+
TX Time: 00h01
Genre: Wildlife, Nature, Documentary Series

A Real Bug's Life 2

Prepare to meet more tiny heroes with huge dramas in a new season of A Real Bug's Life.

Narrated by Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Season 2 dives even deeper into the weird, wild and wonderful world of bugs, and proves that a real bug's life is just as dramatic as their animated Pixar counterparts.

This season, get ready for more high-stakes battles, enchanting love stories and mind-blowing superpowers (yes, bugs with superpowers) in a season packed with some of the most extraordinary tiny characters you'll ever meet.

Bonus: you will also get a special, behind-the-scenes look at the filming of this epic series spanning two seasons featuring 130 bug species across six continents with 450 experts and crew.

Inspired by Disney and Pixar's classic "A Bug's Life," the newest episodes take you on a globetrotting adventure, from the tropical beaches of Malaysia and the misty forests of the Smoky Mountains to the wetlands of Derbyshire and even all the way Down Under, where the tiniest creatures face the biggest challenges.

Audiences will follow incredible stories of tiny heroes, exploring their daily dramas, unique quirks and remarkable superpowers - like the peacock spiders that can see more colours than humans and can jump 40 times their body length; the fireflies that can create cold light with an enzyme called "luciferase"; and the damselfly nymphs that can grab their prey in just 40 milliseconds - less than half the time it takes for one to blink an eye.

Armed with cutting-edge filming technology - including motion-controlled cameras, ultra high-speed lenses, macro filming, photogrammetry, probe and microscope lenses, racing first-person drones and ultra high-speed cameras - the series captures astonishingly precise shots of creatures on an incredibly small scale, revealing never-before-filmed behaviours and larger-than-life traits.

This season uncovers captivating traits, including first-ever filmed encounters with the Malaysian tiger beetle running so fast that it temporarily loses its ability to see clearly, the femme fatale firefly stealing from a rival spider's web, American giant stag beetles battling for a mate, and the hatching of peacock spiderlings, small as a grain of sand.

In the Season 2 premiere, "Love in the Forest": On a midsummer's night, Tennessee's Smoky Mountain Forest is swarming with bugs looking for love.

A clumsy luna moth, a headstrong stag beetle and a fearless firefly each have just one tiny window to mate and fulfill their destiny.

So how do these tiny creatures brave the darkness and find each other? The course of true love has never run smoothly...

Chopped 59: Legends

In this cooking competition it's all about skill, speed and ingenuity as four aspiring chefs compete before a panel of three expert judges.

Course by course, the chefs must take a basket of mystery ingredients, with a different theme each time, and turn it into an extraordinary meal.

Then, they must survive the Chopping Block, where the judges are waiting to be wowed - and they are not shy about voicing their culinary criticisms.

In the Season 59 premiere, "Legends: Maneet Chauhan": Four incredible competitors return to the stoves after being hand-picked as favourites by judge Maneet Chauhan.

The winner gets to compete with Maneet as their sous chef in the tournament's grand finale, with $25,000 cash and $25,000 for charity at stake - plus legendary status.

The baskets that Maneet selects for this battle include a signature Nashville flavouring, an Indian dessert and a frozen cocktail.

Who will earn the respect of a legend and advance to the finale, and who will be chopped?
